I met Screech tonight!! Okay, really it was Dustin Diamond but he will forever be known as Screech Powers to all of his faithful "Saved By the Bell" fans. lol.
Anyways. It was insane. We got to the show 45 minutes early and it was packed. There was a huge line for the auditorium and we were towards the end and by the time we got in there it was standing room only with about 150 people still waiting to get in. It was crazy. Stupid dumb asses that thought the Gemmell Multipurpose room would be appropriate for an event like this. So eventually they decided to move it to the auditorium down the hill. So of course there was a stampede down to the building. I ran with Darcy and Jerry and we sat together.
The show rocked. It was so awesome seeing him in person after watching the show all of these years and seeing him play dorky, scrawny Screech. He definitely isn't that anymore. He's a 26 year old that has filled out, gotten bigger and grown in what he talks about.
His show ranged from random swear words (know how funny it is to see screech drop the F bomb??) plenty of bathroom humor, body parts, saved by the bell cracks, etc. It kept me laughing.
Afterwards everyone I was with wasn't up for waiting around to try and meet him, but I was and I did. I GOT TO MEET SCREECH!! haha. I didn't have anything for him to sign so he signed my cellphone. How random is that? And then I waited around and got a picture with him. Which I will definitely post, of not tonight then tomorrow. It turned out cute, me like :)

This has got to be the worst day I've had so far in a looooong time.
I woke up at 8:15, 15 minutes into my 8 o'clock class in which my group was scheduled to present today. So I scrambled around my room and raced downstairs. I get outside and its SNOWING and blowing wind about 95 mph. I start my trek to class (in just jeans, a hoodie and FLIP FLOPS) and my presentation papers blow right out of my hands and about a half a mile away. I go chasing after them and thankfully 2 girls helped me out in getting them.
I finally get to the building, run upstairs and see a sign on the door "DR. POZZA'S 8:00 CANCELLED TODAY" Great. Who honestly checks their email at 7:30 in the morning?? So I start my journey back to my dorm and discover my room keys AND id card are missing. So I retrace my entire steps with no luck. My guess is that they fell out of my pocket while I was chasing my papers and then they blew away. Lovely. That's $60 right there. $60 I don't have. Probably the amount of money I made working all last weekend. So after roaming around the lobby waiting for someone to go upstairs (you can't get past the 1st floor without a card to swipe) I finally get up to my floor. Attempt to wake my RA with no luck. So I go over to the A side and wake up that RA. I feel like a horrible bitch. It's like 8:30 in the morning and I'm waking people up.
She told me to wait a day or two and call Public Safety and see if anyone turned in my card and key. Ha. I bet. If someone finds it they will more than likely throw it away or try and use my card for meals.
Oh. And we can't forget the icing on the cake. I have cramps, a headache and the start of a cold.
This is not my day. At all. I am going back to bed.

Apparently my key and card has been found. Ashley informed me that there is a note on the RA's door about it, so I checked and sure enough there was. Some girl on the 5th floor found it. I tried calling but she didn't answer. It's all good as long as I get it back.
whew. And I thought this day would only get worse.
I'm off to eat.

So last night I was all curled up in a ball of pain due to cramps and I remembered the bag of samples we got when we first moved in here. So I dug it out the Playtex Heat Therapy and slapped it on.
AND IT WORKED!
It was the coolest thing too. Like a personal heating pad in your pants. muahaha. Sorry to delve into details. But its life you know?
