So this morning I had my first real "college" experience where you say "wow. i'm not in high school anymore!" Anyways. So I get up this morning, actually ON TIME to get ready for my writing II class. I actually dress in something better than scrub clothes, AND I put on makeup. Which is a feat itself because I had yet to wear makeup to any of my writing classes yet.
I get there before class starts, and then my professor walks in, gives a short writing assignment for next week and then announces class is done because something had come up. 8:10. A 10 minute class people, which happens to be my ONLY class today. Rock on.
So now I'm wide awake, but somehow I could use a nap. I am done with classes for the day so I don't have much else to do besides sit around and wait for those stupid internet people to come. Bastards.
Oh! I made a bunch of new friends yesterday with all of the girls on my floor. It was so funny. Somehow we all just introduced ourselves and started bonding. These girls are so much fun and I can tell this is going to be a fun year. There is me, Darcy, Jess, Megan (DJ Meggy Megs) Stacey, Ashley, Katie and Rachel..plus other girls I've already met or known.
We all sat out in the hall last night til like 1:30 in the morning just talking and laughing. Ashley was cracking us all up with her pick up lines and random comments. We started a "6B's Pick Up Lines" list on the mirror in the hallway. The hot RA from the 3rd floor was coming down the hall turning off some hall lights and Ashley started talking to him and was like "I live right here..you can come visit me anytime..I have easy mac!" haha.
I just need to meet some guys. I haven't met very many yet. Which I guess is cool. Its more like friendships with guys that I'm looking for anyways. I would prefer not having a boyfriend right now anyways. Too busy. But there ARE alot of cute guys here.
Well. Since I'm done for the day I should probably head back to my room and start some work, maybe nap, watch TV..SOMETHING.
I'm off...

Ho-leee shit. I actually have the internet now in my room. Rock on!!
After MUCH nagging of the poor computer man while he was fixing Cristina and Erin's computer, I got him to come down to mine and check it out. Turns out I had a faulty ethernet cord so I technically could have been online this whole time. bleh! Oh well. We still aren't paying for the 2 weeks that I didn't have it.
But anyways. Tomorrow is friday. I can't wait. Not too sure what I'm doing this weekend yet, but no classes so thats a plus. There is the first football game on saturday night and then they are playing "Matrix Reloaded" which I'm not all that thrilled to see, but hey, its something to do.
I wanted to go to the KDR frat party tonight but I'm glad I didn't. Turns out it got busted up by the cops and if I was there when it happened, that wouldnt have been good. I do need to party though. Hopefully soon.
Okay. Well I'm off to study for media class and maybe attempt my math homework.
