How to Get Pills Out of a Blister Pack
It seems that more and more pills are issued in a blister pack. The manufacturers must think the day of the week printed on these helps the user. I found them incredibly difficult to remove from the packaging. Here are ways to extract them.paper packaging , corrugated boxes , injection molded packaging

    Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
    Instructions
    Things You'll Need:
    an ice pick
    a knife
    strong fingernails
    1

Some non-prescription medicines like cold pills or sinus pills are fairly easy to remove. Just press on the pill from the front and they pop out through the foil backing.

    2
Try first to remove the pills by pressing on an individual pill (front to back). When that fails, try breaking through the backing next to a pill using your fingernail.

    3
It seems the prescription ones like those for osteoporosis, cancer reducing hormone pill, and birth control are more heavily packaged. This makes them very difficult to extract from their blister pack. I recommend enlisting the aid of your spouse.

    4

Even with two of us working on it, it took twenty minutes to get 90 pills out. My husband used a knife and I had an ice pick. Do not allow children to participate in the pill extraction effort. Be cautious with the knife and ice pick, so you don't stab yourself or gouge the kitchen counter.

    5

For some reason the company that makes them changed the packaging thinking if they were marked with the day of the week, the user would remember to take them like you're suppose to. Perhaps they made them way harder to open so children wouldn't accidentally get into them.

    6

Call the pharmacist to let them know it was a problem. I guess I wasn't the first call to complain as I was told my next prescription order would be back in the standard bottle.

How a Two-Stage Air Compressor Works
An air compressor, much like its name indicates, compresses air, which can then be used for a variety of purposes. Air compressors work much like car engines, using combustion to a drive a piston. The most common kind of air compressor, and the most portable, in use today is the single-stage air compressor, which can achieve a psi rating of around 125 by using a single piston to compress air. The two-stage air compressor can achieve substantially higher psi ratings due to adding a second piston to the mix. Air compressor ,Mini air compressor
All air compressors consist of a motor, a piston and a storage tank. Smaller compressors typically can store between one gallon and five gallons of compressed air. This is accomplished when the piston drives air into the tank repeatedly, forcing a large cubic volume of air into the smaller, confined space of the tank. It works on the same principle as hand pumps used to inflate sports balls or bicycle tires. The upstroke draws air into the tube and the down stroke forces the air through the hose and into the ball. Each subsequent stroke adds more air into the confined space of the ball, increasing the air pressure. If enough air is added, the pressure will cause the ball to burst.
The two-stage air compressor adds a second piston to the process that fires after the first to further compress the air in the tank. By using a second piston, the compressor can produce air compressed to 175 psi or greater, which is roughly 50 psi more than the more common single-stage air compressor. All two-stage compressors have cast iron storage tanks due to the higher air pressure they are capable of delivering. Many of they single-stage compressors use aluminum tanks, which aren¡¯t as strong as cast iron and could burst if subjected to the higher psi generated by two-stage air compressors.

An American Craft Beer & Food Experience
Weeklong Celebration Transforms D.C. into the Nation's Craft Beer Capital
Boulder, CO • June 6, 2011-Once again, craft brewers from across the U.S. made their pilgrimage to the nation's capital to celebrate SAVOR Beer Week D.C., enjoy the benchmark of beer and food events and roll up their sleeves for a little old-fashioned politicking. The breadth of local events, SAVOR's rapidly growing popularity and the level of involvement from the craft brewing community once again demonstrated the industry's vitality and relevance.

SAVOR Beer Week D.C. took over Washington for the week prior to and during SAVOR: An American Craft Beer & Food Experience, and it provided ample opportunity to sample beer from myriad craft brewers, local and well-travelled alike. SAVOR 2011 sold out faster than ever, but even those without tickets enjoyed great beer and food events, ranging from "Crabs and Crafts" to beer brunches and burgers. Washington D.C.'s craft beer scene is blossoming, with 17 brewers participating in over 40 events during SAVOR Beer Week D.C.
Beer Brewing ,Brewing equipment , Micro brewing equipment , Mini brewing equipment
With such an extensive build-up, expectations were high, and SAVOR delivered with a beer and food event that excited and amused attendees, including 42 different pairing dishes and 144 different craft beers from 72 small and independent craft brewers. In addition to the 144 craft beer and food pairings, attendees were treated to a variety of artisanal cheeses by American Cheese Society, including samples from Cypress Grove, Cowgirl Creamery and Point Reyes. Sushi rolls, chocolate truffles and oysters on the half shell rounded out the offerings and gave attendees the opportunity to create their own pairings.

At the end of the night, attendees had the opportunity to bring a little bit of SAVOR home with them. Each received a bottle of "SAVOR Flowers," the first annual SAVOR collaboration beer, brewed by Boston Beer Company and Dogfish Head Craft Brewery. The beer was brewed using rose water in place of regular water, along with a tincture of hibiscus, lavender and jasmine flowers that was aged in Samuel Adams¡¯ Barrel One (the whiskey barrel Sam Adams first used to make its barrel-aged Triple Bock in the early 1990s). SAVOR Flowers was served during the event, and distributed as a parting gift. Organizers hope this will be the first of many collaboration beers celebrating SAVOR.

While D.C. beer enthusiasts enjoyed a relaxed week of beer exploration, most craft brewers in attendance went to work on Friday with a "Hill Climb" to meet their Senators and Representatives. The Brewers Association (BA) is working to grow the House Small Brewers Caucus and to rally support for the Small BREW Act, which would recalibrate excise taxes for America¡¯s small brewers. The BA relies on the community of more than 1,700 craft brewers to help educate members of Congress and staff about small brewers and their unique contributions both locally and nationally. Friday¡¯s event was a success, with 39 brewery owners and 19 state guild leaders visiting offices in both the House of Representatives and Senate.

"We were pleased to have 39 small brewers on Capitol Hill Friday to tell their small business stories and express their appreciation of Congressional representatives' support. It's not enough to just make great beer," explained Brewers Association President Charlie Papazian; "The story of small business success by today's 1,700+ American small brewing companies is a fascinating chapter in America's economic comeback. People, quality and mainstreet community involvement have been the themes of small brewers¡¯ success."

    Aging Home Brew Beer
A mistake that people who are new to home beer making is that that they drink it too quickly. When you are too impatient and don't let your brew age long enough you are often disappointed in the results. Depending on the recipe you used, most home brew beers require, after fermentation, you let the beer age for a period of at least two and as much as six weeks. Please note that these are the minimum recommended times. If you let your home brew beer alone for longer periods you will get better results.

While it looks like nothing is going on during this period nothing could be further from the truth. During the aging process the yeast continues to ferment with the sugars that remain in the beer after the bottling process. This naturally adds to the carbonation of your brew. This is what gives your beer bubbles. The other thing that's going on is the yeast will begin to settle out of the brew itself. This helps the taste to be smoother and further enhances the flavors of the recipe you chose in the first place.

This aging process will vary widely depending on the recipe brewed. The reason for this is that the flavor ingredients in each recipe are different and require different amounts of time to mature. You can easily find some beers recipes that are ready to drink in as little as two weeks and others that are recommended to age for four months.

After you have bottled your beers, preferably in brown or amber colored glass bottles to protect the beer from Ultra Violet radiation, you will need a safe, undisturbed place to store them while they age. Your new home brew beer should be kept in a cool, dark place where they won't get moved around and the temperature never goes above the limit recommended for the recipe you used. Different yeasts require different temperatures. This is usually 72 to 74 degrees and is never higher than 76 degrees.

Once your new brew has aged and you are ready for the first sample be sure you record the length of time you let the batch age before sampling. In fact, good record keeping about what happens with each batch you brew is a very good idea. As you try different things and get different results, you will be building a written record of what works best for you and your home brewery. These records will help prevent you from repeating mistakes and are also a great resource for additional ideas on what to try on your next brewing adventure.

Three Main Types of the Hydraulic Motors
Hydraulic motor is the mechanical component which is attached with the circuit, pump, valves, filters, hoses, metal tubing and other suitable parts. Without this attachment, hydraulic motor would fail to affect well at utilizing the pressure of the controlled fluid. In order to meet the specific equipments in plenty of industrial applications, hydraulic motors are designed and manufactured into three main categories. They are the gear motors, vane motors and piston motors. Although the general operating capacity is the same, they hold their own features respectively.

In terms of the gear motors, there are two types available. They are the internal and external types. For the former one, an output shaft and inner-outer gear set is placed inside. And the latter type is designed with a single housing within the matched gears. These two core parts of two main types are responsible for the through flow. Besides, vane motors are also popular among the market of various hydraulic motors. They are the ones to be constructed of a slotted rotor onto the driving shaft, just like the wings of the equipment. This type is designed to move to tight the ring of transitional ramps or sections in a radial direction. And the comprehensive balance of the equipment is kept by the grooves and holes during the whole operating process.

Besides, the third main type of the hydraulic motors is called the piston motor. And there are two styles available for the practical use. They are the axial and radial piston motors. It means that the rotating way differs. Therefore, they are applied into two respective fields. For example, radial piston motors are frequently applied into the vehicle and airplane engines, as well as some large equipment.

    Cardboard Boxes
Cardboard boxes are not really made of cardboard but corrugated fiberboard. The first commercial cardboard box was produced in England in 1817 and in America in 1895. The major increase in use came when Kelloggs started using them for their flaked cereals. There is even a cardboard box museum in France called Musée du Cartonnage et de l'Imprimerie which means "Museum of the Cardboard Box" in Valréas where boxes where used since 1840 for transporting the Bombyx mori moth and its eggs from Japan to Europe by silk manufacturers.

What are corrugated cardboard boxes made of?
Corrugated cardboard consists of two layers, also called 'liners' and a corrugated central part called 'fluting' (deriving from the English word flute). The liner is manufactured from long fibres in order to make it strong and hard-wearing. The fluting is manufactured from short fibres in order to make it stiff and resistant to pressure. This is single wall, there is also double and triple wall corrugated cardboard.

What can cardboard boxes be used for?
Boxes are ideal for a number of uses including shipping products, as moving boxes for moving home, shipping items sold on eBay or other online auction sites. Cardboard boxes can also be used as a toy for children as they often love to use their imagination to portray the box as an infinite variety of objects. Ala: paper packaging , corrugated boxes , injection molded packaging , clamshells , clamshell packaging

Are cardboard boxes bad for the environment?
Most local authorities have schemes to collect cardboard and recycle the cardboard boxes, alternatively you can take your boxes to a local recycling bank. If you collect your cardboard to recycle in a cardboard box then you will not have to separate it later. Cardboard is also biodegradable and decomposes when sent to landfill unlike plastic.

    Bandsaw Blades
Anyone that owns a bandsaw will tell you that properly used and maintained, a bandsaw is the perfect addition to any workshop. A bandsaw will quickly take center stage, and do the tasks of many of your other power tools. As is such, being able to recognize and understand various types of bandsaw blades is as important to your workshop as a good bandsaw itself.
Hunan: Band saw ,BandSaw Blade ,BandSaw Blades , Bimetal BandSaw Blade,

With a good and proper bandsaw blade, you get a cleaner, better cut. In addition, the task is done in a safer and healthier environment for both you and your property. Having the proper bandsaw blades also means that the cut will be a lot easier.

    Types of Blades

There are three major types of blades. Each blade offers a cut that is perfect for various materials being cut. Using the proper type of bandsaw blade is an essential part of any bandsaw project.
Bimetal BandSaw Blades , Band Saws For Metal Cutting , Band Saw Machine , Circular saw machine , Special purpose machine

    (a) Regular Tooth - These are the perfect bandsaw blades for those finer cuts you need to make in the material. The teeth are extremely fine and make for an extremely smooth cut. It is not suggested that you do a resawing project with a regular tooth blade. This can be dangerous to you and your property. Instead, use one of the other blades mentioned below.

    (b) Hook Tooth - These are the perfect blades for difficult and hard materials. This is an extremely aggressive blade and should not be used by novices. The hook tooth blade cuts a 10º rake angle that is highly priced by bandsaw users around the world.

    (c) Skip Tooth - These are the perfect blades for softer and easier types of materials. This is considered a perfect all-purpose blade. This is also highly prized because it is an excellent blade for resawing. This skip tooth blade cuts a 0º rake angle making it perfect for the average user. These blades are probably the most used by bandsaw users.

    What It All Means

The more teeth your blade has per inch, the smoother the cut by the blade you will get. However, the smoother the cut, the slower the operation actually takes. Most bandsaw users recommend having at least 3 teeth in your material at every turn of the blade. This gives added security to your project, keeping you safe from harm. If you want to resaw a piece of material, you need an aggressive blade. The wider a blade width is, the more stability you will get and the more straight the cut will be. A more narrow blade will give a tighter cut that is perfect for a more detailed project. As a rule of thumb, use the widest blade your project can handle. This adds safety to your project.

How to Choose the Right Air Compressor
Air compressors have been around for well over 100 years and have as many uses as there are tools that use air. One reason for their popularity is because air as a resource is safe, flexible, clean and convenient. These machines have evolved into highly reliable pieces of equipment that are almost indispensable in most of the applications they serve. Compressors can come in a wide variety of different types and sizes.

Ultimately, as with any tool, air tools and the compressors that drive them, have to save the user time and money on any given project. Most compressed air tools are more powerful and typically lighter than standard electric tools or battery powered cordless tools. They are used by virtually every industrial sector from aircraft to automobiles to dairy farming to textiles.

While there are many types of compressors, they all perform the same function, which is to increase the pressure and reduce the volume of a given gas such as air. The most common type of compressors work by filling a chamber with air and then reducing the chamber’s volume. These are called positive displacement compressors. They are the most widely available compressors and include reciprocating, rotary screw and rotary vane compressors.

Of all the positive displacement compressors, Reciprocating or Piston compressors are the most commonly available on the market and can be found in ranges from fractional to very high horsepower. These compressors are sold world wide by many mass marketers and a large variety of retail outlets.

Rotary compressors (Screw and Vane) and the centrifugal compressors are also commonly found but in more of an industrial/commercial environment. Normally they are operated at significantly higher horsepower and flow rates, which makes them more expensive buy and to operate. For more information on rotary compressors please visit www.daveycompressor.com.

The following paragraphs contain some very general information on piston compressors that will allow for a more informed decision concerning the type and size of compressor being considered.

Single Stage and Two Stage Reciprocating Pumps

Reciprocating (Piston) Compressors can be widely found in two primary configurations; Single Stage and Two Stage.

Single stage air compressors work by drawing air in and subsequently compressing the air to its final pressure in single piston stroke. Single stage air compressors can attain pressures of up to 150 PSI. Typically, a single stage pump will have a higher CFM(Cubic Feet per Minute) rating than a two stage pump because every cylinder is drawing in air and compressing it with air during every rotation.

Two stage air compressors work in a very similar manner with the primary difference being that they compress the air in 2 steps or stages. During the first step or stage, air is drawn in and compressed to an intermediate pressure. After being compressed in the first stage, the air is piped, usually through an intercooler where the air is allowed to cool, to be compressed in the final or second stage. Two stage compressors are normally good for pressures up to 200psi. Two stage pumps are more efficient at higher pressures because the air is cooled between the stages.

    Buying and Using Water
Water is purchased much the same way we purchase electricity. A meter measures the range of gallons that enters the water program, either in cubic feet or in hundreds of gallons. The meter, which isn't equipped to record the huge numbers used by most foodservice locations, will show a basic range.

The meter reader takes that range and multiplies it by a constant figure, known as the constant multiplier. For instance, if the meter shows 1200 and the multiplier is 100, we have consumed 120,000 gallons. Whenever you turn on a sink in your kitchen, the drinking water rushes out at 50 to 100 psi. This stress is a lot more than sufficient to get it from the city's pipes to the building, which only takes up to 20 psi.

The excess pressure is used to move drinking water into numerous pipes throughout the facility. his is called the upfeed system of getting water. Actually, 50 to 100 psi is strong enough to supply water to the upstairs area of a making four to six stories high. If your facility is in a taller making than that, you'll most likely require water pumps to boost the stress and flow.

Pumps could be utilized to increase drinking water stress; valves (called regulation valves) can be utilized to decrease it. Your goal is to control the drinking water coming into your facility to avoid fluctuating pressure or an uneven flow rate. And whenever there's a possibility that contaminated drinking water could backflow into the potable water program, a backflow preventor should be installed.

Backflow may occur whenever a piece of equipment, such as a commercial dishwasher, is capable of creating stress that is greater than the incoming pressure of its supply line. The segments from the typical upfeed program are:

Water meter: The device that records water consumption. It is the last point of the public drinking water utility's service. Anything on "your" side from the drinking water meter, including all pipes and maintenance, is your responsibility, not the water company's.

Service pipe: The primary supply line between the meter and the building.

Fixture branch: A pipe that carries drinking water to a single fixture. It could be vertical or horizontal and carry warm or cold drinking water.

Riser: A vertical pipe that extends 20 or a lot more feet. It can carry warm or cold water.

Fixtures: The devices (faucets, toilets, sinks) that permit the water to be used by guests and/or employees.

Hot-water heater: The tank utilized to heat and store hot drinking water.

Pipes: The tubes which are fitted together to supply a program for water to travel via. They could be copper, brass, galvanized steel, or even plastic. Building codes determine what materials are acceptable for various uses. Copper is the most costly kind of pipe, but it's considered simple and economical to work on.

Plastic pipes are allowed only for limited, special uses. Probably the most typical type of plastic pipe is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC). It is inexpensive, corrosion resistant, and has a long life, if you're allowed to use it.

Fittings: The joints of the pipe program. They fit onto the ends of pipes, allowing them to make turns and to connect to each other and to other appliances or fixtures. Some of their names describe their shapes, and also the most well-liked fittings include the bushing, cap, coupling, elbow, plug, and tee. Some fittings have threads (either internal or external) to become screwed into place; others are compression type.

Water meter, Water meters , Single Jet Water Meter , Multi Jet Water Meter , Plastic Water Meter , Remote Reading Water Meter

Valves: Valves control drinking water flow, and are created of brass, copper, or cast iron. Use of the correct valve minimizes plumbing difficulties. Gate valves are used to vary drinking water flow and permit water to go in either direction. Check valves permit water to flow only one way. They're marked with an arrow indicating the direction of flow.

Safety valves are spring-loaded valves which are operated by temperature or water stress, to relieve excess pressure if they sense a buildup.

The Panel for Educational Policy held a panel meeting last night at Brooklyn Technical High School to vote upon the proposed co-location of nine charter schools across Brooklyn and the Bronx.

Councilman Al Vann, along with parents, teachers, United Federation of Teachers representatives and students from P.S./I.S. 308 (The Clara Cardewell School), the schools on campus I.S. 33; and Paul Roberson High School – all from Bedford-Stuyvesant – attended the hearing.

Also, representatives from six other public schools of the proposed co-locations were on hand to voice their concerns about the Department of Education’s building utilization plans for their schools.

On the PEP panel was School Chancellor Cathie Black, along with 11 other panelists – a diverse array of education advocates, parents, an investment baker and community development directors.

P.S. 308 clearly dominated the evening’s agenda, as parent after parent after union representative took turns at the microphone expressing their opposition to the co-location of Teaching Firms of America charter school on the school’s campus, where they insisted it is already overcrowded.

“The co-location of Cardwell School would be insensitive to the children. There’s inadequate common space there now for the current population,” said Vann to the panel. “I think it will put our children at peril. I would like to think that there’s something to be said here that is logical, relevant and factual that would be taken into consideration.”

However, according to a DOE building utilization plan assembled following the department’s walk-through of the school, the school currently is well below capacity.

According the plan, the building has the capacity to serve 1,213 students. However, in 2010-11, K308 only served 636 students in kindergarten through eighth grade and 13 students in one full day pre-kindergarten section – a total of 649 students.

The current utilization at P.S. 308 yields a rate of 54 percent. In 2015-16, when Teaching Firms would complete its expansion and achieve full scale, K308 would serve approximately 880-920 students, which still only yields an estimated utilization rate of 76 percent, according to the plan.

But teachers at the school claim the numbers do not reflect their day-to-day reality. UFT representatives of P.S. 308 pointed out that the common spaces at the Pre-K through 8th grade school simply were too small to add another charter school, and it would be a health and safety hazard.

The gymnasium is as small as some classrooms, they said, and currently, the library can hold only one class at a time. Additionally, the lunchroom is so small, the school has to start its first lunch during breakfast time, at 10:15 am, and rotate through four shifts until its conclusion at 1:45 pm.

“That cafeteria has to accommodate 660 children, four lunch periods to feed all of those children; it is unconscionable,” said a UFT special representative assigned to P.S. 308. “You cannot service the children now. So how are you going to add more children and cause more confusion in that building?”

However, DOE spokesperson Jack Zarin-Rosenfeld pointed out that from 2001 to 2003, P.S. 308 had 1,000 students, and further, to imply that what the DOE is proposing will make a huge difference from what they’ve dealt with in the past is false.

“We definitely acknowledge that the cafeteria is somewhat small, but ten years ago, the school had 1,000 students enrolled with the same size cafeteria. So presumably the scheduling around the cafeteria has gotten easier,” said Zarin-Rosenfeld. “The new school would make the total enrollment 800 to 900, still lower than it was ten years ago.”

According to the building utilization plan, the school has 21 full-size classrooms and 4 half-size classrooms above its footprint. On page 9 of the plan is a breakdown of proposed space allotment for the cafeteria, with P.S. 308 receiving close to three hours of usage over two periods, while the charter school would receive one lunch period.

“I understand why people might be upset,” said Zarin-Rosenfled. “The school has had the building to [itself] a long time now; they’re no longer going to have the space they used to have.

“But if we can put another school in, not disrupt the programmatic aspect and still have a few classrooms over what they need, it is a good thing.

Councilman Al Vann, who also conducted a walk-through of the school a month back, says that from what he’s seen, the school has no more room.

Patch panel, Keystone jack , Face plate ,Network cabling, Wire management , Network cabling tool , DIP Switch , Clamp Module

He wrote an open letter to Deputy Chancellor Marc Sternberg last month stating that, although he does support the co-location of some charter schools in his district, Teaching Firms for America at P.S. 308 is not a good fit. He implored the chancellor to consider the community’s welfare before making a decision.

“I would think that the criteria that put you here [is] your intelligence, your concern for children, your independent judgment and your ability to try to do the right thing for our community,” said Vann.

“If the mayor did not include those as a part of his criteria, then shame on him. But you are [here]. We want you to be concerned about the best welfare of the children in our public schools and their families. If you do that, you’ll have our support. Without that, then shame on you.”

However, Zarin-Rosenfeld insists that the decision will positively impact the welfare of the community. He says that space is not solely a charter school issue, and that public school principals have to work through space issues all the time.

“The fact is, P.S. 308 has lost more than 300 kids over the past ten years,” Zarin-Rosenfeld said. “Putting in a new school that parents might want to send their kids to… you can look at it as a bad thing. We think it is a good thing.”

    Ping Anser Irons
There are some things about the latest iron introduction from Ping that feel more than a little retro.

Let’s start with the name, Anser, which is probably the most famous product name ever to come out of Ping, mostly for the finely crafted putters that have born that appellation over the years. But it is also because the Arizona equipment company once produced an Anser iron – more than 40 years ago.

Then, there is the fact that the Ping Anser iron is forged. That’s how Karsten Solheim made his first irons back in the 1960s. But then he got into investment casting, with the K1 iron in 1969, and never used that process again. In time, Ping became famous for its investment cast irons, and forging seemed to be something other club manufacturers did.

Of course, all the nostalgia in the world doesn’t mean a thing if the new Ping Anser forged irons, which were released in North America last November after first selling quite successfully in Japan, didn’t have the looks and design to perform in modern times. And by all accounts, they do.

“We’ve pushed the forging process (in the Anser iron) to a new level, and I know golfers in the U.S. and Canada will be as eager to play it as they have been in Japan,” says Ping chairman and CEO John Solheim.

The modern Ping Anser combines an 8620 steel body with a tungsten sole and features a machined face and grooves designed to improve spin and control. Company engineers say the club’s hollow-sole cavity design softens feel and positions the center of gravity in such a way that it generates higher launching iron shots.

investment casting, investment castings , Metal Castings , Aluminum casting, Sand castings

In addition, they assert, the progressive set design offers forgiveness in the long irons and greater control in the short ones. There is minimal offset, and the thin top line gives it more the look of a player’s club, though it is designed to be a true crossover.

“It’s forgiving, yet it provides workability for the better player,” says Solheim. “And the feel is amazing.”

The Anser iron is available in 3- to 9-iron plus PW, and comes stock with steel Project X shafts.

Safe and Effective Band Saw Cutting and Its Uses
Metalworking, woodworking, cutting plastic and other materials can be done through band saw cutting. This is because a band saw, which is a versatile power tool, can be adopted or designed to carry out these activities..To carry out metal cutting, the blade of the band saw used is either a carbon steel or a bimetal. Carbon steel tool blade, the cheaper option can equally be used on mild steel to cut it, when set to the appropriate speed. As for the more expensive bimetal blades, this can be used to cut hard materials, for example stainless steel. However, making use of a bimetal band saw may be the cheaper option in the long run, if used appropriately as it often outlasts a carbon steel blade of a band saw.

To cut wood, you can make use of carbon steel tool blades on your horizontal band saw or other band saws, which it can be used for (please confirm from sales guide or manual before using it this way). Some manuals that come with band saws designed for cutting wood inform users that they can equally cut metals too. This is often true, but such are soft metals like aluminum, copper, et al.

If you attempt this wood cutting band saw on a stainless steel, which is a denser metal, you will likely destroy the saw blade as a result of the heat generated. This is because a lot of wood cutting band saws possess blade speed that is inappropriate for cutting such metals; as they run faster than required for cutting harder metals.

A tooth pattern on band saws is another way these powerful tools are put to different uses for wood cutting or metal cutting. Without these differences in pattern the versatility of band saw cutting will be some what limited in its usage compared to what it can currently achieve.

There are general rules for tooth patterns. For band saws designed to cut wood, it is that fewer teeth per inch makes a faster, but rougher cut; while the direct opposite (possessing more teeth in every inch) will make a smoother, but then slower cut. And with metal cutting band saws, the general pattern rule is that working with thinner materials requires possessing more teeth per inch, while harder materials need fewer teeth.

Hunan: Band saw , Bimetal BandSaw Blades , Band Saws For Metal Cutting , Band Saw Machine , Circular saw machine , Special purpose machine

Metal band saw cutting is done basically through the use of two machines, namely; horizontal band saw mentioned earlier in preceding paragraphs and vertical band saw. Wood cutting also employs the horizontal and vertical model of band saw machines..Horizontal band saw machines are often designed to accommodate one width blades, while vertical band saws can take blades that have various width sizes. Band saw cutting has developed over the years with more innovations expected in years to come.

What is a Fiber Optic Patch Panel?
Fiber optic patch panels are also known as fiber distribution panels. Patch panel's function is to terminate the fiber optic cable and provide access to the cable's individual fibers for cross connection.

Fiber patch panel can use fiber patch cables to cross-connect, connect to fiber optic communication equipment or test the individual fibers in the fiber cable.

A fiber patch panel usually is composed of two parts, the compartment that contains fiber adapters (bulkhead receptacles), and the compartment that contains fiber optic splice trays and excess fiber cables.

If you want a even neater cable management, you can also use a fiber patch cable management tray to neatly store and manage excessive fiber patch cable lengths.

Optical fibers from workstations or from other wiring closets terminate in termination boxes. The termination boxes provide a patch point for a small number of connections, but larger installations will have a separate patching location that serves all of the incoming and outgoing fiber cables.

A fiber patch panel consists of an array of duplex SC adapters, hybrid adapters, or Small Form Factor (SFF) jacks. If the entire installation, including the fiber optic hubs, repeaters, or network adapters, uses the same type of fiber optic connectors, then the array can be made of compatible adapters or jacks.

To convert between fiber connector types, you need a hybrid adapter or a conversion cable. A hybrid adapter is a passive coupler that joins two different connector types, while a conversion cable simply has one connector type on one end and the other type on the opposite end.

Fiber patch panels provide a convenient way to rearrange fiber cable connections and circuits. A simple patch panel is a metal frame containing bushings in which fiber optic cable connectors plug in on either side. One side of the panel is usually fixed, meaning that the fiber cables are not intended to be disconnected. On the other side of the panel, fiber cables can be connected and disconnected to arrange the circuits as required.

How Plastic Corrugated Can Make Your Product Pop at Point of Purchase
Anyone who has ever stepped foot into a retail establishment has felt it: dozens of manufacturers competing for the consumer's attention. In order to stand out in the sea of items desperate for consumption, manufacturers have had to find ways to make their product noticeable and distinguishable from the rest.

Every year, businesses spend billions of dollars on ways to increase the likelihood consumers will purchase what they have to offer. But oftentimes their efforts are either lost or overlooked because the materials used to create merchandising displays are not made to withstand the type of exposure and stress typically encountered in a retail establishment. In addition, many point-of-purchase displays are made from materials like cardboard corrugated that cannot be easily or cost-effectively customized with branding and marketing information.

But today's diverse marketplace does offer alternatives to the traditional materials typically used in the creation of point-of-purchase displays. One such material, plastic corrugated, is formed when two plastic liners are fused together on either side of a sheet of wavy plastic known as fluting. Together, these three layers create a weather and chemical resistant material whose properties offer a vastly superior and longer-lasting alternative to the cardboard corrugated traditionally used at point-of-purchase.

While corrugated plastic is best known for its use in the packaging and shipping industry, it can also be used in a variety of merchandising and marketing applications. Plastic corrugated is lightweight and durable, so packaging or signage made from the material can be placed inside or outside, wherever the retailer thinks the product will capture the most attention. In addition, because it is much more durable than cardboard and built to withstand a great deal more stress, your signage or displays are more likely to withstand the frequent handling and constant exposure typically encountered in a retail environment.

And unlike cardboard corrugated, corrugated plastic can be produced in a wide variety of colors that are sure to catch the consumer's eye. Even better, it can be screen printed with your company's logo for maximum brand exposure.

Because today's retail environment is so fiercely competitive, it is extremely important for manufacturers to find methods of presenting their products that are not only longer-lasting and more durable, but also more eye-catching and reflective of their company and their brand. In a retail environment becoming increasingly inundated with products and information, marketers who learn to utilize products like plastic corrugated in ways other than their most traditional applications have a much better chance of making their products and messages stand out from the rest.

Market Entry Research for China’s Industrial Sectors
SHANGHAI, Dec. 2 – When considering entry to China’s industrial sectors, some foreign investors think in terms of China as an emerging economy. Although this is true in some sectors, and the IMF still classifies China as a developing nation, it is a country that holds some US$2.4 trillion in reserves and a current sustained annual growth rate close to 9 percent. Several of China’s industrial sectors such as high speed rail, telecommunications, wind and solar power, petrochemical processing, automotive, and steel production are performing at levels on par or better than some western countries.

With this in mind, China’s industrial sectors are interested in procuring only the best and proven technologies from abroad – technologies that will enable them to operate more efficiently, reduce pollution and enable them to sustain growth in their domestic and export markets. Foreign companies that wish to provide such technology will find that they are welcome, but should proceed with a well designed strategy based on current and in-depth comprehensive market knowledge.

The first step to be taken is one that is often overlooked. It is that of trademark registration. This should be done prior to exposing one’s brand to the Chinese market, even if the entry decision has not been made. China’s trademark regulations allow for trademark registration on a first-come first-serve basis without qualification of trademark ownership. Often, foreign companies have entered the China market with considerable investment only to find that their trademarks have been registered by another party.

With trademark registration underway, the strategic research process can begin. Although each industry requires different data, the methodologies of discovery are basically the same – employing secondary and primary research to provide a balanced and objective report along the following guidelines:

    Preparation
To prepare for the research, it will be important to thoroughly convey the objectives of deliverables of the work to the research firm. This will enable them to tailor the project design and schedule to meet the objectives to develop an effective market entry strategy. The technology should be clearly described with technical support available for queries from researchers. The project should not commence until the client is thoroughly satisfied that the researchers understand the scope of technology and how it is intended to fit into the targeted industry.

Computer Series Bearing , Automobile Bearing , Electric Tool Bearings , nzsbbeaings , ball bearings , Ball Bearings , roller bearings , roller bearings , nbk bearings ,manufacturer , China markets , seo ,

    Initial research
The initial “desk top” secondary research will provide a general market context of relevant government regulations, market size and trends, prevailing economic factors, brief descriptions of competitor operations and listings of industry targets for primary interviews in the field. Normally this work is completed as the first phase of a two phase project. At the juncture between the two phases, the research team and client will review the initial findings prior to proceeding to the second phase for primary research.

    Primary research
In the second phase, the research team goes into the field for primary research. In cooperation with the client, interview questionnaires will be designed for face to face field interviews, as well as on the phone, with industry experts, government regulators, end users, competitors and any other parties that can provide the relevant information to meet the requirements of the project.

It should be noted that within Chinese society this can be a lengthy process as most Chinese are reluctant to be interviewed without authorization from their superiors, a referral from a known person, personal reward, or a combination of any or all of these.

Within this phase, the information gathered from the interviews is compared against the data gathered by the secondary phase. The data is then verified, analyzed, and synthesized in a consistent format for incorporation into the final report.

    Final report
The final report will recap the verified information from the first phase and articulate the findings of the field research with conclusions as to the size of the entry window of opportunity for the client. A proposed entry strategy is then written, usually with options, to demonstrate the ways and means of entry for the client.

For optimum results, it is recommended that the client bring the research team leadership to the home office for an in depth review of the findings with all of the client stakeholders. This will assure that all parties have ample access to the report and the opportunity for challenging and verifying the project findings

At this point, the client would then weigh the options of available entry paths. Some would elect their entry to consist of establishing a representative office and working through agents and trading companies for sales and distribution. Others may move forward to establishing a wholly owned foreign enterprise, or foreign invested commercial enterprise, with imported inventories, a sales team, and field technical support. For clients with needs to manufacture in China, the options of a joint venture, acquisition, or green field plant construction and operation may be considered.
