| 4:44 pm | [ Sun Sep 21, 01:39:52 AM dollypolly ] So happy that when I came home and there in the kitchen there was a pot of my favourite beancurd plus gingko nuts and barley dessert..mom made it. hmmm papa has got a part time job..working for his friend's company..but like papa had to work from 7pm to like 7am..weird..it's just only for a week..and it pays well..miss papa! it was cold throughout the whole day, i went for cell group then to church. Glad that Glenn was here with us today, it's been a long time since he came to church. He really surprised us all with his SWEET PINK ROXY VISOR. Speaking of visors reminds me of Lip. Hahaha, he and his hat encounter with his former church. Well I think we shouldnt allow hurtful remarks from other people to paralyze us? As they say, church is where all the evil people are? .raisedeyebrows. Pray that Lip will come to church and won't miss out on God anymore? hmm..after service we went to holland v to eat mowanwan's nasi lemak...no of course not..though there really is a stall which looks like it in channel 8..except that the woman there was a skinnier version of wanwan dajie. we ended up eating in the house of chicken. shopped and saw nice shoes in exodus..oh no not the shoe fettish again! And walking on, we ended up at this ice cream bar called Bellagio...although initially we wanted to settle in at Breko's because it was full housed. = D aND OH Cool. I just had a new bag! No actually i bartered my pink bag for tash's artybag for a week. Hmmm...going to bathe now...i'll carry on later peishan's wedding is on the coming saturday..and both me and phyllis don't really have any presentables. I hope I ain't to be called to be like one of her jie meis? Then I wouldn't have to worry so much about what to wear. With effect on Monday, I'm going to lead an even healthier lifestyle. I'm gonna jog and eat well. |
| 4:43 pm | [ Thu Sep 18, 12:36:39 AM dollypolly ] no school at all today..i ditched the morning lecture so i could get more shuteyes. mom was asking whether I would like to have a poloroid..but I said I want a digicam.. judging how tash's pols performed (think the flash doesn't work)..having second thoughts here.. woah yeah..mom said i can use her office scanner..so glad i wouldn't have to buy one... oh...lomography is damn cool...went to terrence's house and he had one big hung on his walls...all the small pictures were of him and huiyee honeymooning around the many places they went to. i think esplanade walkway has a whole stretch of lomos..or did they took it down..cuz when i saw them it was like...(counting)...last year?...yeah cuz i think they keep changing the displays... |

" que "..and that's the only word i remembered..it means WHAT? later i read on asian arts and then moved on to the history of western europe..speaking of those books..they are really huge..and heavy..i couldn't even carry them to any of the nearest reading seats.. i wanted to borrow two of the books titled "whose cheese shall i move?" and the other "the many greatest things to do before you die"..but my student card showed invalid...horrors! |
| 4:41 pm | [ Sat Sep 13, 12:35:09 AM dollypolly ] Post Date: Sat Sep 13, 12:33:36 AM feelings right now: nostalgic of those lovely fridays! ;) today i laid on the couch in the living hall.. 7pm..i was watching holland-v on channel8.. it was a strange friday evening. you know, usually on fridays we would have Rowl..and i would have some sort dragged myself up to vic's house guilty for stolen a few more scenes of the show..you bet..i was late everytime and always gave excuses like "oh i was practicing the songs jus now" if not "aiyah stuck in bed" now..i won't have to churn up some lame reasons for the 15minute of show until commercial break..i won't have to run away from doing PnW..now i can watch my channel 8 FOR ALL I WANT!!!! GO AHEAD. NOOOOOOOOOOO!! GIMME MY FRIDAY ROWL BAAAAAACKKKK!! Went to school...thinking i would be late for macroecons lectures..but i was one of the earlier birds that occupied a quarter of the LT. My lecturer is this french canadien who is extremely fanatic with his rugby and his rugby..and everytime whoever is late for more than 10 minutes..he will make the person sing in front of the whole LT. Last Monday,my whole class were late because we waited for Jocelyn and Weitien. Our class is like "one for all and all for one" (and this is the spirit of those musketeers in Man in the Iron Mask). The disappointing thing was once Jocelyn arrived..she said,"Oh I feel like skipping Remy's lecture." We all chided her..so in the end she went forcefully with us. Oh holy cow..we went inside the LT..Remy wasn't talking..obviously he was more interested in observing us finding this empty row of seats and settling down...and hence..i led 1F22 in singing "twinkletwinlklittlestar".... (sing it) "They can beg and they can plead/ But they can't see the light, that's right/ CAuse the boy with the cold hard cash/ Is always Mr. Right, cause we are/ Living in a material word/ And i am a material girl." Madonna hurhur..everyone is materialistic..admit it or not... i feel like i'm fit and slim in the morning...because i went for the jog.. but but buts...later part of the day..i snacked like a pregnant woman.. i had fish hor fan...fruit juice..vegetarian beehoon..bun..and buns...mushroom soup...wafer biscuits..cheese biscuits...WHAT ON EARTH! |

But I am sort of enjoying what I'm studying..because I've learned to? It seemed that I am inspired to want to do well because I see the big picture? I hope this inspiration doesn't die down. ~_~ I had a great time making chocolate cheesecake on Friday at tash's place and then on Saturday we celebrated Drey's bd...food glorious food! Sinful cos of the food..and sinful cos of the lies we planned. Argh going to bed now. Hope tomorrow I can buy something. |

Tomorrow will be my first common paper...macroecons..i still have 2 more chapters to cover. Mom bought so many "guilin-gaos" for me to last for a month...it's said to improve on one's complexion. Oh last night I went to hw's farewell bbq. I brought no gifts except guilt, the fact that I haven't reach my study target on Friday. I don't feel comfortable at all being there, so I left early, though the feeling was a little nostalgic while I was there with those people. I studied till five this morning...both my calves ached so much because i jogged for 30mins the previous morning. I rubbed my legs with heaps of tiger balm and they burned. alright..i'm leaving here...later |

But it's just that...hrm *sighest of the sighest* the amount of work is mounting. With so many projects, it's like in every module I would have at least 1 project, imagine I have 5 modules this semester! Class is cool, exept they have alot of politics going on. We have to go in groups in order to get things done, and it's always somebody which needs to be satisfied. Oh well, i often slipped away when they're discussing such issues, it only makes my head spin! I'm still waiting for Celine to kindly give me the password so that I can build my own web and i can upload pics onto it. I need a digicam! I wish I still have the 1k from my temp job. Oh well, money is water! Argh, ZOUKOUT is tomorrow! I can't go cos nobody's gonna lend me I/C. Argh!! I have to wait till November! WEll but never mind, right now I'll just study hard, after Semester Exams, I can fully enjoy. OK! I need to shop tomorrow. Gracious me! The Roxy bag I bought $79 is spoilt now. Damn it! |

I feel blessed that my class people aree fun loving...they are actually nice people. rowl was cancelled today..crazy..don't know what Jasmine was up to. Anyway seems like she will be getting her driver's license real sooner. And she said she'll be picking me up one day after my school and we'll go Nail's Girl. Goodness me! The other time (think last week) , we were supposed to go. Both of us were having the cash problem. Lucky girl, lucky she, has all the monies and riches and luxuries still though. oh! so long never go church. just don't feel like going, it's sort of like having an opportunity cost there for every sat spent in church. anw, told phyllis about this, she asked me to keep pushing. Tomorrow I'll be going cell group. today's IS classes were pretty interesting, chung sang hao said that once in his lecture (he studied Psychology) , they were doing hypnotism, and this particular lecturer was so good in it that he just picked this guy and he just said, "Your left foot is heavy," and the moment the lecturer asked the guy to lift it up, he couldn't! scarey huh? I-SCREAM = 99.9% fat free icecream. oh my school had this mini fair where they had all the business running, from M1 roadshow to the carpet cleaning device. Don't know why they wanna sell carpet cleaners in school, where all the mass population are students. i got the yoghurt i SCREAM for three bucks! i chose blueberry, rasspberry and mango. tHE Taste wasn't that bad, although I do not exactly fancy yoghurt, but I just had it as a substitute cuz I was just craving for the Anderson's icecream the other stall was selling. And as i was about to finish, a tree branch fell into my I-Scream cup! k gtg...mi books are calling me.... |

I tripped while going up the stairs. My nails broke, the flesh on my toes were torn apart. It's damn gross if u look at it. Thank goodness I havent paint colors on it, just had the base coat only. I couldnt find my class room. Later I bumped into this good looking caucasian guy from Business Studies, oh he has this cute accent! He happened to be looking for his classroom also. So we went high and low, and even ended up in SIM! Goodness! I went to my class, the lecturer said I came on the wrong week. My I.S. classes are on the odd weeks! HELL! I apologised, smiled and walked out the classroom. (I think I heard laughters from those people) I went for ROWL at Shan's place in the evening. She just went for her wedding photo shoots on thurs. Her nails were nicely done up. She went Nail Girl's for french ped-and-med-icure. Me n Jas intend to sign up for the $100 ($10 per session) thing. Oh man! Can't wait for my toes injury to heal soon. mmm read Irene's blog. She clubs religiously! Mmm thinking of those Saturdays when I went Zouk with Adel, used her I/C and she signed me in. Yessss! LOOK! It's just so ironic, like after church we went to club. Remembered I drank this stuff, it's like they have this ball thing for you to hold in your mouth, and then my friend will use his lighter and he'll lit up the ball and liqour in my mouth. And when I swallowed the drink, the feeling is just plain good. And after that we'll go eat Bak Kuk Teh along Kim Keat road. Sometimes we'll go supper just opposite paradiz centre this 24hr kopitiam, Mr Bean's. It's so nice to drink the hot milo and this kaya toast after all those alcohols. *wide smile* Right now, me hardly club lah. Now I must sleep early cos of my pimples. I wanna look pretty. I find there are alot of fun things in life I can do. This is like what we learn in Macroeconomics--OPPORTUNITY COST. Heh maybe i'll club again, like just once in a while go with friends. ok gonna meet tash lm pheee aud later afternoon. later den. |

I've been having dreams all the while,don't ask me why. Somehow i just hope that i can interpret them,if not like,dream for what? haha =D Later I am going down school (bbss) with Joel to pick up our O Level certificate. He asked me to go with him to Ngee Ann to pick up his notebook too, I don't feel too good to go with him, if not for the taxi shuttle service. I'm supposed to give him wakeup call also,so many things I need to perform for such a friend! Oh yeah! I went shopping with Tash yesterday, she finally got her M;phosis fishing bag for whopper $9.40. She wore this brown top she got from Suntec, she looks good in it. Her style is becoming more like "TP-ish" and more arty-fartish sorta. Nowadays I don't like stores lik Mango, Levi's , Zara. They are always having this digging sale, which makes their stuffs cheap skate, I still prefer the good old ROXY,STUSSY,RIPCURL those surfie kinda brands. I saw this pink bag for executives from this Marx shop at Far EAst, after 20% discount it cost $27++. Not bad,I think it looks cool,and I can use that to contain my toshiba notebook, but just that i need MOM to go down and have a look first before i purchase it, i seem to trust her taste more than I do for myself. ummm hmmm =D Currently I need new wallet (saw a Braun Buffel sweet pink leather for 80-something-dollar after a 10% discount , and this white polka wallet from Stussy,price unvailable). I need nice slippers and shoes and many tops and bottoms.......i'm going broke!!!!! ok gtg now |
