10:11pm I'm not looking forward to tomorrow. Another prosthetic appliance assignment. I won't go into it. Met with Charles today. He told me to just enter into the fashion makeup competition for IMATS as the character FX one uses foam and I don't know how to work with that stuff yet. Chrissy, who competed at the same time last year didn't know how to work it (and was incorrectly placed in the wrong competition) and didn't do so well. If I get in, they'll fly me down there and give me $100 for supplies. That's it. Well...what about a model? They'd have to fly themselves down there. They also have to be female. You also need a costume, a wig, etc etc etc to make it complete. Oh maybe you should find a model in LA or AZ to be it and find a similar sized model to work on up here. I feel overwhelmed by many problems. Obviously if I make it in, I'd like to place well and to do that you need practice - but a model who won't be paid and has to fly herself down? And I should start making charts and costume designs NOW no matter what the outcome. ::sigh:: |
