I got a job this Sunday for makeup. Yay food for the week/I need more sponges!

School's been busy. Wednesday I had cultural makeup (Holly made me into Maori and I made her into a Korean bride) and yesterday we had a photoshoot. I had 4 models flake on me completely so I had to have Laura get me one through the school who ended up being older. I successfully turned her into a 40s/50s look for a color photo but didn't do too well in BW b/c anytime I'd pull her hair away from her face she'd age instantly. I wanted her hair to look different but boy was it hard. Proof that not everything looks good on everyone. She also had a strong jaw and brows so she kinda looked draggish.

Tonight is kareoke night at school which means my class'll be getting drunk and sing to others. Many of the 05s (I've dubbed them as the MKDOKs and it's caught on) aren't coming which sucks. We don't like them b/c they're intolerant of us Americans. There are no Americans in class b/c who the hell would pay the current school tuition besides Canadians? Oh yeah, me. Stupid recession.

In 5 weeks we get to do creature makeups on the 05s - that's 5 weeks for them to get nicer or else I know certain chemicals that can create chemical burn on the skin. I know b/c I have it on my forehead from bald caps. In 3 weeks we learn aging and will go to the movies and Denny's to get senior discounts. We'll also be old on Vday so that'll be interesting. We've decided to do the American tradition of the silly themed cards and make boxes and envelopes. I've been asked to make food again.

Danny and I're going to start writing letters back and forth b/c he's increasingly hating IM and emails. He's bought a typewriter (he doesn't want to take and use grandma's due to sentimentality) and enjoys using it. Though I think he's going to make an exception for me since it costs $1 to mail anything from here to the states and .69 to here.

EB has had Bjorn mix their track a couple times and don't like what he's done (which truly truly sucks) and have has someone else mix it. Don't know what it sounds like but I know it sounds like Stephen's happy. He's still busy but hasn't hired anyone yet. He's set up his new comp, working with 3 monitors, and playing Crysis along with talking to me every once in awhile. I fell asleep super early tonight hence the early morning post.
