forgot that it was thaipusam yesterday until i saw the procession on my way to jamming.
decided to get down at tekka mall to soak in to atmosphere. it was the closest i can get to being in india right now :)
the energy didn't quite feel like when i got trapped near park mall couple years back. maybe i was near the beginning of the procession. i remember it was electrifying at park mall - my hair stood on its ends.
i was all sweaty by the time i got to the studio. got a super cold room. drank some super cold water. held on to the mic. out came a squeaky sound. haha! that's my voice i tell you. not much sound came out no matter how hard i tried.
went back to listen to our recordings. hadn't had time to get to the serious portions. but i heard loads of laughter in between. i think we sounded nice laughing. hoho. and my laughter was loud. so my pathetic singing voice is just a bloody lack of practice la!
okie. time to start work again after all the partying. write write write.
