It don't matter if you're black or white....unless you're in Federal Way
Today I was driving around running errands for work and I noticed that the busstops in Federal Way are segregated. Not that it's that way on purpose, but apparently they just are. The first one I drove by was all black people, the next one was all white people, and the third one was all Asian. And when I say all, I mean ALL--and there were about 6 or 7 people at each! What is that all about?
Anyway, a couple of weeks ago The Sis came over to my house and was like "Let's go to the batting cages!" But for some reason we didn't go, so we're going to go tonight and I'm so excited because I just found that they also have miniature golf! All we need now is some blue bubble gum ice cream (with real gum balls in it) and it'll be like MG's all over again. Maybe, for old times sake, we should wear two different pairs of neon socks, and roll the bottom one down so the top color shows. Oooh, and banana clips in our hair.
I miss The Hubby a lot. He is camping up in boony-land so he has no cell service either. I still have two more days to go until he gets home. This will be the longest we have gone without being able to talk to eachother---Yay, he just called!!! He was in an area where he had coverage so he called me. It's like he knew I needed to talk to him! He's so awesome. |
