Alright I'm a little confused here. So I know there are 3,500 calories in a pound. So to lose a pound in one week you must subtract 500 calories a day from your typical intake. Now because I have been counting calories I only consume 1,500 calories in each day so If I were to subtract 500 calories a day I'd only be consuming 1000 calories a day and isn't that an unhealthy amount of calories? I just don't really understand what I'm supposed to do here.. if someone could clarify it to me that would be very helpful. thanks
