I fell off the wagon... big time! But I forgive myself... I haven't been to the gym since mid-November, when I finished up my 12-week challenge. I've started a new job (after being treated like crap by my last boss), and I'm figuring out a new routine, since my hours are different now.
And to make things interesting, the day after Christmas I severely sprained my ankle - I think I almost broke it! It's been nearly two weeks and the swelling is still quite bad, and my whole ankle is bruised. I'm finally going to the doctor tomorrow about it - and I'm hoping that I don't have to get crutches... I'm unco enough on two feet!
So I'm off the exercise wagon until my ankle heals, and who knows how long that will take... I can't even drive my car!
I'm kick-starting my 2008 health kick with a 10 day detox. It's a five-organ care program for the stomach, liver, intestines, colon and skin. I've looked at the recommended foods and I don't think I'll be able to stick to it 100%, but I figure that taking the supplements and cutting out all greasy, oily foods will help, along with cutting out caffiene and soft drink.
What do you guys reckon about the detox plan?
