It's a thought...........
Is it possible that because I am eating much more friuts and veggies, that it might be countering all the bad stuff I have been eating. At least to some extent? I can't believe that I only gained what I did this week, but I have been trying really hard to also eat at least 5 helpings of fruits and veggies a day.
Worded weird I know, but I hope I made sense.

| Omega 3 |
[18 Oct 2007|10:45am] |
I have been taking an omega 3 suppliment & have been eating foods high in omega 3. I think it is improving my mood & helping me to be less insane re: weight issues. This is highly interesting to me b/c I am not a "sunshine & lollipops" kind of person so more looking on the bright side is a welcome change.
Anyone else have positive experiences with more omega 3??

Today is National Love Your Body Day!
On this site, we spend a lot of time working to be healthier; a lot of us want to lose weight, get fit, all that sort of stuff...
That being said, I think it's important to realize just how amazing our bodies are, how much they do for us every day, and just how much we take our bodies and ourselves for granted!
It regenerates, self regulates, defends itself, adapts, protects...it's amazing!
DId you know: -The heart beats aroudn 3 billion times in an average person's life -Within a tiny drop of blood, there are about 5 million red blood cells, 300,000 platelets and 10,000 white blood cells -About 2 milllion blood cells die in the human body every second, and the same number is born every second -The average adult eats 500kg of food a year - People produce 1.5 liters of saliva a day - At rest, an adult takes in and breaths out about 6 liters of air a minute - The capillaries in your lungs, if placed end to end, would extend 1,600 km - Scientists estimate that there are between 10 and 100 trillion cells in the human body. - Your fingertips hold 2,000 pores per square inch - The skin weighs six pounds, is the larges organ of the body, and is only 1/20th of an inch thick - Humans perspire constanly between one and two pints a day - If you added all your eye blinks together, they're closed for about half an hour a day - As far as we know, humans are the only animals that weep from emotional distress - The human ear can discriminate some 1,600 different frequencies - Your lungs are made up of about 300 million microscopic air sacs - Your blood journeys through 60,000 miles of blood vessels out fromthe heart and back in less than a minute - The hear beats about 70 times a minute and pumps 2,000 gallons of blood a day...all that and it's only the size of a fist and weighs less than a pound -Your body contains over 600 muscles and 206 bones -Your legs and feet withstand up to 5,000 pound of pressure per square inch when running -Your hands are a wonder- they contain 25 joints and allow 58 distinctly different motions, which makes your hands the most versatile instruments on earth -The female ovary contains half a million cells, and about 400 will be released - The human male produces 200,000,000 sperm a day - A human zygote (sperm+ovum) contain the blueprint for a creature of about 60 billion cells in a package no bigger than a pin point
Don't you productive knowing all the stuff you're doing without even thinking about it? I know I'm exhausted! ; )
Today, take a little time out to recognize, love, and appreciate the wonderful, amazing being that you are!
