Okay, so it's been a week; how'd everyone do on the 5 a Day Challenge?
- Did you try any new ways to sneak your servings in? - Did you try any new recipes? - Did you notice any benefits to eating more fruits and veggies? Did you have more energy, get clearer skin, lose weight, or just plain feel better? - Do you think you'll try to incorporate 5 a Day into your regular diet? - Any other stuff you want to share?
Be sure to check in this weekend when next Monday's challenge will be announced!
And of course, thanks and congrats to everyone who participated in the challenge!!!!

Week 4 of my gym challenge ends tomorrow... and I'm not too sure how I'm doing at the moment. The first two weeks I did awesome, I went about 4 days a week and managed to lose 1.5kg (3.3lb). Then I gave myself a few "days off", which turned into a week of doing nothing, and I gained all that weight back, in one week. I'm due for my Week 4 weigh-in tomorrow, and I'm a bit petrified, to be honest. I've stepped it up a gear, went back to the gym, cut out all the extra servings I was having... and I snuck a look at the scale on Sunday (naughty... I know) and I've lost 1.2kg out of the 1.5kg I gained.. am keeping my fingers crossed and hoping that I can undo that horrible week I had, and get back on track. Can anyone please supply me with lectures, beatings over the head, kicks up the behind and general encouragement to make sure I don't fall off the wagon again... pleeeease??

An interesting article I found on snacking: Super Snacking Ideas
All about snacking, it gives you a list of alternatives you can munch on instead of all those high calorie treats. Because this page is Australian, it's all listed in kilojoules, but if you divide the numbers by 4, you'll get an approximate calorie amount.
Enjoy!
