graham crackers + unsweetened applesauce = heaven. these graham crackers are 110 cals per 4 cookies, and the applesauce is 60 calories per 2/3 of a cup. these plus a little basmati rice milk and i'm 5 years old again. ;)
mind you, i ate like a hippo the rest of the day, but i'm still really happy with this snack. yum!!

hey girls! i'm sorry i haven't posted/commented in forever!!! i miss you guys!!! i've just been so busy with midterms and other school work, work, etc etc trying to balance that with a social life! it's driving me insane! but i feel like we're all going through that right now, huh?? luckily i've been doing bikram yoga [huge favorite right now! i love it!], drinking lots of tea, and working out to keep the stress levels low, but sometimes they creep up anyway!
in preparation for next weeks festivities, i've taken it upon myself to work out EVERY DAY for the next week, as well as cutting out all starches and simple sugars. i can't live without my apples, so i didn't want to go carb free :]. basically, i feel really great about this plan, even though PMS is starting to creep up on me and it makes it hard to abstain from a sugar binge. i can't wait to go home next week and impress everyone! because last time i came home for the holidays, i had put on 20 lbs! now i'm back down and healthy!
haha sorry this is all about me... maybe it's inspirational?? haha
anyway, i hope you all are doing AMAZING, fighting this cold weather and keeping the sniffles away...

...i realized everyone at thinandhealthy would probably want this awesome ab workout. i used to do this in gymnastics training, and let me tell you, i dreaded this like no other because it is SOOOO hard. I should make a movie: 4 minute abs :P
Every round is 30 seconds, there are 8 rounds. the key to this is never letting your legs touch the ground for all 4 minutes.
round 1: v-ups, as many as you can do in 30 seconds (body literally makes a v, lie flat on back with arms out above head, form a v with your body keeping arms above head, then come back down) round 2: finish last v up and sit in v position with hands at sides (not using them for help though) bend knees and make a 90 degree angle. then swish arms from side to side keeping legs off ground. make sure your whole core is twisting. round 3: regular crunch with legs above the ground. lie back wih legs straight out about 1 1/2 feet off the ground. do as many crunches as you can in 30 seconds round 4: bicycle kicks. hold a long crunch and bicycle kick legs as fast as you can for 30 seconds round 5: scissor kicks. same as above, different leg motion round 6: repeat round 2, twisting extra and keeping legs higher than before round 7: hold crunch position and hold legs 1 1/2 feet above the ground round 8: hold same position as round 2/6 but put hand behind head and make your elbows touch the opposite knee. make sure you are twisting your whole core.
