Well, so far, I'm doing pretty well on the Weekend Recovery Plan, which basically entails me recovering from too much NYC food-bagels, pizza, and alcohol.
Unfortunately, I'm kinda sick...that kind of almost sick,really if you know what I mean...
I'm really craving wine. Instead of getting wine though, I'm posting it here! No wine! Even though it would go really, really well with my low fat, whole wheat veggie lasagne. (Edit: Actually, D bought wine and stuff without me even asking! GAH! He reads mind...so day 1 of 2 days of drinking is over!)
Which brings me to my lasagne tip:
There are now whole wheat lasagne noodles, and they're great! Also, instead of adding meat, you can use veggie "meat" crumbles for tons of protein and way less fat and calories. I usually saute mine with mushrooms to make it more filling without adding tons of calories....also, for the cheese mixture, I mix half 2% cottage cheese, half part skim ricotta, and one egg white! Low fat cottage cheese has half the cals of part skim ricotta, so it's even healthier!

Hi everyone, I've not posted in forever, and hope everyone's doing great! I have a question- as retarded as it may sound to you all - I was hoping someone could explain to me. I'd like to know how to post an lj cut. Sounds ridiculous, I know, but I've always said I was technologically impaired! If anyone would be kind enough to explain, please include all the details because I'm slow that way. lol I'm not sure how to make part of the post show on what everyone sees, and the rest after you click.
