: Like, seriously . . . whoa
Okay, well, today was interesting . . . to say the least.
Got up, did the school thing, checked up on my financial aide. Figured I was going to have a stressful afternoon, what with doing wedding stuff with Tricia and then signing the lease with Kyle later.
Tricia and I hooked up around 3ish, pounded out the guest list (which is monumentally huge). About 200ish people. Egads. Waiting for those round tables to make Jim bitch about space. But hey, these are people that mean something to us, so it's not like we're inviting people I've never . . . met (well, we are, but that's besides the point).
After this, we went and register the tuxes for the guys and I. More info as it comes down the pipe, gents.
Tricia and I then went to Jared to pay off my balance and to get the ring cleaned. We were asked about wedding bands and decided to browse. We then learned that gold was going up in price (shocker there; I heard about this on NPR) and that we should probably buy now. Well . . . we did. Tricia opened up an account and bought my wedding band and I put hers on my card. Not very expensive, thank God, but man . . . man.
I kinda went into this strange state of mind where everything felt very surreal and bizzare. It was like, I just bought the wedding band just as I was about to put money down on my new apartment. Just strange timing.
We also got the apartment. It'll be a slow move, trust me.
I wanted to write more, but there's a pretty nasty wind storm and any second now, I expect the power to go out and to leave me with no way of putting this on-line.
