: It's my birthday!
It *was* my birthday, to be correct. It's after midnight.
Nothing really out of the ordinary happened today. I mean, some pretty (somewhat) big stuff happened, I suppose, but nothing completely impactful.
I woke up to Tricia calling me over the phone, greeting traditionally with "It's your birthday?!" (from 'The Emperor's New Groove') and a lovely rendition of "Happy Birthday."
Eventually got myself motivated to get a haircut (which was awful), then went to the DMV (or, as it's known here in Ohio, the BMV). Didn't have enough money to pay for my Driver's Liscense, but they let me slid. The girl that took care of me was really nice and quite pretty (observationally). That's always nice.
Came home, watched (one of) my fave episodes of "Futurama". Then watched "Star Trek: The Next Generation," along with the other regular shows.
'Rents came home in due time and we ate dinner. I had my first glass of wine, which I thoroughly hated and am kind of apprehensive about all alcholic breverages. Should make my night our with Holli and Aaron very interesting . . . (I honestly don't really want to do this).
After dinner, like, 10 people showed up from church. Part annoying, part touching, part shocking . . . but a great thought all around. My only complaint is that I had far too many questions regarding school (which I'm not going to). Ugh. I hate that question.
Opened up my presents, got some good stuff. Jake, though, was about as hyper as . . . shit, I don't know. You people be creative for me. I'm tired (and drunk? lol).
I think my biggest regret of the day was not being able to sit down with Tricia and talk (we did, to an extent), which was something I wanted to do all day. I hate not being able to do that with her, esspecially on a day like today.
I'm going to bed soon, but I wanted to thank everyone for such an . . . eventful (less?) 21st birthday. Certainly, it will be remembered for ages to come.
Good night!
