I guess I can tell people now...
I was offered the part of Long John Silver in the show Treasure Island.
Part of me is happy and exciting, and part of me is scared sh*tless. lol..... It's going to be a lot of memorizing and I will also have to learn to walk on one leg. :o And he only uses one crutch.
At auditions, there was a comment about him having a parrot on his shoulder. I hope they don't make me wear a cheesy fake parrot. However, if it would help me balance maybe it would be a good idea. lol...
We have our first rehearsal on Monday. We will be having a read through of the script. It will be interesting to see who else is in the cast.
