I am going to be doing another show. :)
Before I went on vacation I contacted the lady the owns the dance studio that does The Nutcracker productions that I have been involved with in the past. I told her I was interested in being in the show again this year. She wrote back and gave me the audition date which was going to be while I was away on vacation. I told her that, but that I would still like to do the show. I didn't hear anything more, and for the past week I have been thinking I should call the lady that directs the show and see if she could use me or if they had all the people they needed.
Well, when I got to work Thursday night I had gotten an email from her. She apologized for being so behind on contacting me, but she really hoped that I was still interested in doing the show, and hadn't gotten involved with something else. She also said, she would like me to play the butler again. I wrote back and told her I would be more than happy to do the show.
So I will be butlering again this December. I think the show is the first weekend of December. I was smart and took some vacation time this year. Last year I kind of ran out of time to do everything, aka work and the play, and had to call in sick a couple of nights. :o
So if you are in the neighborhood come December, stop on by and see the show.
