September 14th:
Sadly, today is my last full day at Disney World.
I woke up early and showered. There is an extra morning hour at the Magic Kingdom today. I got ready and headed up to the bus stop. I called my friend, Adela, to see if there were coming, and they were getting themselves ready. Unfortunately the bus came before they got there and being the terrible friend that I am, I left without them. :o
Got to the park before it opened and while we waited there was a little opening program leading up to the park opening. Mickey and the gang were all there. The park finally opened and everyone started streaming in. When you first enter you are walking up Main Street. Lovely old styled building fronts. Looming ahead of you is Cinderella's Castle. WOW... Is all I can say. I am really here.
I headed straight for Fantasyland. I wanted to start my day riding The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. I'm a Pooh fan, what can I say? Once I was in to Fantasyland and found a map so I knew where I was going I found the ride. It was really a cute, fun ride. Just what you would expect from Pooh. From there I headed to It's a Small World. Again, Very cute. I think it had recently gotten a good cleaning and face lift. The colors were so vibrant. And no the song did not get stuck in my head. LOL... From there is was across the street to Peter Pan's Flight. I always felt sorry for Captain Hook. lol... I am such a kid at heart. I love these cute rides. :) Next I was going to ride Snow White's Scary Adventures, but it wasn't open yet. So I wondered through Cinderella's Castle entrance and got some pictures of the mosaics in there. Luckily before there were huge crowds pouring through.
Then I thought I would head over to Adventureland or Liberty Square. Unfortunately neither of them were open yet. I guess they limit things for that extra morning hour. Drat... So it was back to Fantasyland.
