September 10th:
I woke up and jumped in the shower, got dressed and headed over to pick up Angie. I stopped and picked up some donuts on the way. What is a Sunday morning without donuts? lol... I gave Angie her birthday gift I got her. It was an autographed picture of Jason Ritter. He is the son of John Ritter and was in Joan of Arcadia and now is in The Class. I think she really liked the photo. We had talked about hitting this big flea market place, but decided to just run around, hit a few stores, the mall, and the Shell Factory and see what kind of trouble we could find. They said we could go out to the beaches, but you spend most of the day in the car just trying to get there. That didn't sound like a lot of fun, so we decided to just run around. We went to the Burlington Coat Factory because Angie wanted to find a reversable belt. I also bought her a sweater she liked. I said it was the rest of her birthday gift. :) We need to get one of these stores in Rochester. They are pretty nice. Then we stopped over to this pet store. They had a bunch of adorable puppies out in little pens so people could pet them. I fell in love with the little golden retriever they had. Okay, honestly, I fell in love with pretty much all the puppies. lol... From there we headed over to the mall. We walked around, but couldn't find much trouble. We stopped into the Yankee Candle Company store. My favorite is Buttercream, but I smelled a new one, at least to me, Cherry Lemonade. It was really good. I wanted to get one, but I wasn't to sure a candle would travel very well. :p We stopped and had a snack. I had a Dairy Queen ice cream cone. From there we headed over to the Shell Factory. It was a pretty cool place. Tons of shells as you can probably guess. lol... They have one of those build a bear places, so of course I had to stop in and start building. There was a cute teddy bear you could build, but Angie said I needed to get either the aligator or the flamingo to remember Florida by. So I went with the flamigo. I named him Bertie. Don't ask why, because I don't really know why. lol..... One of my coworkers wanted a sanddollar so I picked up one for her. Will I get repaid? I doubt it. There we so many cute things in there I could have bought the whole place. It helps to be a walker, but I keep wearing out my friends. By this time Angie was getting tired so we decided to head for home. I was thinking that my suitcase was getting awfully full and I wasn't anywhere near Disney World yet, so I succombed to the knowledge I was going to need another suitcase. Angie called and checked on supper. Her mom and dad were treating me again. Way too nice of them. She wanted Angie to pick up a vegie. So we stopped to do a little more shopping. I found a pretty nice suitcase, the rolly kind, for $30. Angie got some corn and we headed for home. The weather threatened another good storm, but it didn't add up to much. Thankfully. We sat and chatted for awhile. I was getting kind of tired myself, so I didn't stay quite as late tonight. I said my good nights and goodbies. I felt guilty for not staying longer, but Angie was tired too. On the way back to the hotel, I stopped at Wally's World and picked up some munchies to take to Disney now that I had a second suitcase and room. lol... I also picked up another calling card for my cell phone. I was kind of running out of time. :o Back at the hotel, I did another load of laundry. Why not start Disney with all clean cloths. :) Watched some tv. I realized why the alarm didn't wake me up, it was broken. Nice. NOT!!!!! Thankgoodness my internal alarm clock wakes me up after 6 hours of sleep. Oh yeah, the room had ants too. How nice. :( Off to sleep and DISNEY WORLD tomorrow. :)
