I was a bad boy yesterday. I went shopping.
I bought a DVD recorder. Shopko had one on sale that I just couldn't pass up. It was normally $129.00, but it was on sale for $88. Now I have a DVD player and a DVD recorder. How stupid is that?
Now if I could just get someone to decipher the directions for me. Crap, it looks complicated. They need to make, Instructions for Dummies. lol... I was hoping to just hook it up to my VCR to do some transfers, but I don't see anything that simple in the instruction booklet. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bob Denver, the actor who played Gilligan on Gilligan's Island, passed away last Friday. He was 70 years old.

Did anyone happen to watch the MDA telethon this past weekend?
During the night they had two of the Muppets on there helping to host. The lounge singer Johnny and his gofer Sal, who is actually a chimp. If you know these two you can really appreciate what happened that night. As their time as cohosts came to an end they sang their version of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody. It was an absolute riot. I just wish I had my VCR going at the time. It was a keeper.
Even with all the money being raised for the hurricane relief the telethon was able to raise $54.9 million dollars. That is amazing.
