Why do so many people have to come in for surgery during the holidays? This week has been nuts so far and we still have two weeks to go before Christmas. Monday night we had 17 patients and 15 of them were surgicals. Tonight we have 23 patients and 13 of them are surgicals. When will the madness end? LOL!!!!!
Everybody gets time off over the holidays and figure they will go have their surgery, but what about all us poor suckers working at the hospitals stuck taking care of them? What I really need is a vacation. Just some time away from the patients and my worthless coworkers, would be so nice. Let's see I think the next time I can sign up for some time off is maybe February. ugh... Can I hold out that long? Of course I can. Well, maybe with a little help from a mental health day off here and there. lol...
Why do I keep coming on here and whining? Somebody just smack me up side the head and tell me to suck it up.
