Well, I am back from a very long short weekend.
I worked Friday night (late night) and then I worked all day at the theater. We are installing a new light system. Yea, we are entering the 20th century. lol... I wound up being awake for about 26+ hours before I fell asleep in front of the tv. I just kind of dosed off and on all night that way. Why didn't I just go to bed? Then on Sunday I went up to Minneapolis to see the stage show Starlight Express. How can I describe that??? Interesting? Okay? Not very good? It was entertaining. I will give it that much. Not a show I would have gone to on my own. It was part of my membership package. I think Andrew Lloyd Webber must have been on drugs when he wrote this show. It is about a little boys dream of trains racing. The actors, wearing rollerskates, portray the trains. The script is kind of lame and so are the songs. I know a few people left after intermission. I stuck it out and yes I was entertained. Actually, I almost didn't make it to the show. About the time I was getting ready to go I started to feel really sick. Totally to blame on my lack of sleep. I think I am just getting to old for that sort of thing. lol... Please say it isn't so??? I think I would have been okay if I hadn't had plans for Sunday. I refuse to grow old. LOL!!!
However Starlight Express doesn't compare with Chicago which I saw the week before. Not a deep show but very good. And talk about some very hot guys. hehehe...
Wow, can you believe it a real entry from me... I thought I would take the time while I had it to write here. Work has just been unbelievable lately. So I will try to keep up here more often.
