This is a letter to the editor that I had published recently.
Fear takes away rights, freedoms I am deeply saddened and extremely scared that I, an American citizen, live in a day and age where I can be hated and condemned for disagreeing with the president of the United States.
What happened to the freedoms and rights of this country?
Oh, that's right, we gave them all away in the name of fear.
We are afraid of terrorist... We are afraid of strangers... We are afraid of our neighbors... We are afraid of anyone who does not agree with us.
And with all this fear there is building an unbelievable amount of hatred.
Hatred for everything and everyone who does not fit into someone's warped sense of what's "American."
I am hated for disagreeing... I am hated for speaking out... I am hated for not supporting war... I am hated for being an American...
I am sad and scared, and if you would be truly honest with yourself, you would be too.

I decided to take the plunge and see if the stripper would respond to my request. I am betting no way in hell. Does anyone want to place a bet?
Mr. Barone, I was wondering if you could tell me where my camera tripod is?
Also, curiousity causes me to ask where the "BEST" friend was at the wedding????? Even though the bride tried to uninvite me I still showed up and was shocked when I found out the "BEST" friend was no longer a part of the wedding ceremony. Also, I have noticed that your wonderful new career, the web site, has pretty much stopped dead in it's tracks???
It is safe to say I am no longer friends with any of the "gang". I am assuming that The Bride shared my letters with them. I saw Pierce and Jason during Pride and neither one would speak to me. Their loss not mine. Oh well, I met JD and we shared some memories. Seeing as we are both outcasts now it was quite fun.
Anyway you owe me so many things. The least of which is my tripod. So I would appreciate you returning it.
Jon Hayenga
I just thought of something more cruel I could have said. (Shame on me) I will save that for another time.
