darren's mom moved to north carolina without telling us.
sue and the girls were originally going to move down at the end of june. darren's cousin andy and his wife were going to rent the house, but backed out at the last minute. so they were going to stay until they found someone else to rent it.
well, sue called darren today and surprise! they're already there. when darren asked why she didn't call before they left, her response was basically "why didn't you call?" like she shouldn't be responsible for telling her son the date that they're finally actually going to leave.
darren texted me toward the end of my work day, and called my on my way home. in two years this is the first time i think he's cried around me. we didn't get to say goodbye, first of all. and he really misses his sisters. he's worried about them.
sucks.
