ah, christmas.
had the traditional family gathering at my grandpa's house last night. kyle, jenna, and i were the first ones there other than dad and grandpa. mom rolled in right around the same time as tyler, kristi, and her two kids (and their puppy, smokey, who is super cute). their baby is due in april and it's most likely a boy. cody brought his girlfriend lisa. the tree of us played some scrabble; there was also catchphrase happening, which caused me to lose at scrabble. they all had to head out to cody and tyler's mom's house so we opened some gifts before the last few people arrived. tyler had my name- he got me wii play. and cody liked the hat and scarf i made him, so that's good. i worried it was too girly.
mom gave me and kyle some gifts that our dad had given her a long time ago. his is a pocket watch with a train on it (because she worked on the railroad once upon a time), and mine is an id bracelet- she was going to have it engraved but it wouldn't have been done in time for christmas.
as soon as darren gets home tonight (in about half an hour) we're going out to farmington for dinner with his mom and sisters.
so i'm going to finish this mug of bailey's and hot chocolate, play some wii, and continue to enjoy my little vacation. merry christmas, friends. i love you all.
