we just got back from the bohlinger wedding reception at anna's parents' house in balsam lake. we hitched a ride with derek and mike and it was an amusing time both ways.
the wedding last night was lovely. anna looked amazing of course. also, delicious cake. good choice.
today was sweet. totally chill; everyone pretty much ate and mingled. mike and derek brought their "instruments," as instructed by anna's father, so we had a hippie corcle going for a while. it was good too see a lot of people from concordia, like josiah and fink and mike z. music was played, there was much laughing. a quality reception, i would say.
bonus: there was a lot of leftover wine and anna's dad told us to take it. so there was a bit of a wine-grabbing free-for-all, and we now have 5 bottles of chardonnay sitting on the counter. thanks guys!
i love jon and anna.
and now i don't have any weddings to go to until... probably josh and amanda's next may. sweet.
