so stephanie got married yesterday. woah.
right after the ceremony i think we were doing a lot of "that's my friend stephanie and her husband andy."
stephanie was amazing as a bride. and looked so as well. everyone looked great, really. she has good taste. speaking of amazing, on an egotistical note, heather and i looked good and attended well.
nobody's going to believe her when they see the pictures and she tells them she was married in april. it looked lovely for december though, and i'm glad it stopped being so blizzard-like before the ceremony started.
i have to say, i thought i was going to be a disaster. watching stephanie walk up to andy just for pictures, i started to get misty. i ended up surviving the ceremony with just a few tears and thought i was good. but i totally lost it when she was dancing with her dad. then it was ridiculous, uncontrollable weeping all over darren's shoulder. after that, though, i was ready to rock.
and rock we did, the way a wedding reception should be rocked.
honestly, it all became real the night before at the bachelorette party (which was fun, amusing, and pleasantly low key) when i changed stephanie's name in my phone. true story.
still kind of processing. in a good way.
