the thing about moving is it has made me extremely aware of all the things i don't have. sue (darren's mom) told him we should make a list of what we needs and she'd help us out. we wandered around target yesterday and made a list. we also made random purchases, like a toaster and a new, larger litter box for the growing kitten. but that list, it is not short. why? the kitchen. there's a lot of little things, you know.
meanwhile, we're bed shopping. upgrading to a queen side and giving my current bed to one of his sisters. but i'm kind of obsessive about it. i can't leave ikea alone. nothing over the top, but man. want. and of course, matching nightstands. yep. and to top it all off, the mattress value superstore in roseville is totally going out of business.
ahem. anyway. signed the lease on saturday. we're going to start moving in on april 15- well, probably the following weekend. living in sin.
