"NDS employees need anger management" quote of the day:
i feel like ripping this [shelf] off the wall and dropkicking it. and then going 'supermarket sweep' on the post-hearing files.
we keep the very large quantity of huge post-hearing files on a shelf that runs the length of the back part of the office, creating sort of a faux hallway. it would be pretty sweet to run by and just, well, supermarket sweep them right off the shelves. disastrous though.
did anyone else watch that show? supermarket sweep? anyone?
today, after havign been there for two months, i finally got my own user account set up. my access is restricted so i couldn't have done it myself even if i had bothered to try, so i finally caught the computer dude and now can log in as myself and not as lauren. also, i scored a company email account that i will never, ever use.
anyway. saw metric last night and they were, of course, fantastic. the same co-worker quoted above was quite jealous that i was in attendance. the opening band, crystal castles, were um... well, not quite my thing. she yelled, and it was grating. but metric was indeed great. although i will say that it's a good thing ms. emily haines was wearing those tights. also, i like her hair.
i bought myself and eric tickets to regina spektor. i am stoked.
i made tacos tonight. and now, pumpkin pie. i'm so domestic sometimes. never mind the fact that the pie is frozen.
