one best friend is embarking on an adventure, traveling all over the country with a bunch of giant, singing, dancing toy ponies. another is all engaged 'n stuff. (but really, who isn't getting married nowadays? okay, a lot of people).
me? well. after dropping kate off at the airport this morning, rebekah and i spontaniously decided to go to fort snelling. we were there for almost six hours and played a lot of checkers in the barracks. ye-ah! you only wish you were as exciting.
applying for jobs (didn't even get a friggin' interview at the house, wtf?), being flat broke, and being so out of the loop that i only realized today that the governor vetoed the tax bill. what an asshat.
still don't know what the deal is with the explosion(?) down the street.
*addendum: i've decided that the best thing for me to do is re-watch the first three seasons of the west wing, and then proceed right on all the way through the seventh. also, i applied for two more jobs today. wee. nobody can say i'm not making an effort. but, y'know, gotta find a way to pass the time and not spend any money. hence TWW. it helps that it's one of the greatet shows ever made. prove me wrong!
