this article is fantastic. from the new yorker.
in case you didn't get the memo, tuesday was my birthday. i think you all knew that. nothing exceedingly noteworthy happened. went to work, got to leave early.
oh, side note: i may or may not have mentioned that when i went on friday, nobody was around. they were all at session because friday was the day the committee presented the tax bill. so i screwed off for a little while and then left. monday i got an email from paul:

Sorry about Friday. On Saturday I remembered about Friday. Sorry I didn't give you the heads up. That was not very nice.
it made me laugh more than it probably should have.
anyway, after work on tuesday i did the class thing. eventually i made my way over to borders and redeemed one of their sweet birthday coupons. i came back and bought myself some music from itunes, then went to pizza luce with eric, stephanie randolph, and amanda. amanda sneakily told them it was my birthday and i got free cake.
friday at work i will also get cake, as a dual post-birthday/last day celebration.
all in all, a low key but excellent birthday.
today was my interview at vee. we'll see how it works out. also today, i think i scored my second internship, assuming the administration agrees. zach wants to make a series of help desk segments for ctp next year - kind of mini info informative clips about how to use the 24-esque phones and backup your data and whatnot. so, over the summer, i'd put those together. sounds like a good deal to me. plus it means i'd have access to the editing lab for longer, and that pleases me.
i'm going to start moving on saturday. we decided to keep the projector and eric bought surround sound today. we might put a bar in the basement. now you all want to come hang out. you're totally invited.
i think i want to use some birthday money to buy this bed. good ol' ikea, nice and cheap. i need a mattress too. no problem. anyone wanna go mattress testing?
the senior dinner was tonight. tomorrow's my last day of class, friday's my last day at work. sunday is the dance presentation, monday's my theory final, and my final dvd for video prodution is due tuesday. other than that, the fonys are saturday and we're making a zombie movie next week, just for the hell of it.
too many people are going to be in town next weekend. all my brothers, plus one or two of tyler's friends (why is he bringing heino? seriously) want to go out afterwards. we'll see if i feel like it.
kyle better hear about his job soon.
