i keep wanting to update, but i have nothing to say and i never really feel like trying.
christmas was good. nothing very noteworthy happened. kyle got me a cd and a decent carry-on for london, which i may have mentioned i picked out. got some money which will be helpful.
speaking of london. i'm pumped. but oh my god, this loan thing is ridiculous. first i noticed - after i submitted the on line application - that there was a typo, so my mom's birthday was wrong. i couldn't fix it, so i called. the guy i talked to also didn't have the power to fix it, so i have to submit the change in writing. he also said the address i provided might not be sufficient, because it's not a street address. so i hammered out a letter with those changes. right before i made this call, i got one from them saying they needed proof of my address and a photocopy of my mom's drivers' license... okay. so i've got all that stuff ready to mail.
it's insane. they are soul-eaters.
i'm also going to have to be way frugal while i'm there because i cannot afford this trip. i suppose it'll help that i'll only be seeing like three shows instead of, what, seven?
anyway. i developed a metric ton of pictures the other day - all the ones off my camera plus a roll from two years ago. most of those pictures were crap, but a few were pretty great. we were so little. i got an album too, so that's pretty neat. i need to bring it back to st. paul with me so the actual printed pictures i have there can be sorted into said album. ah, but i've also got tons of pictures on a cd that i should get printed as well... man.
