do we all have more than one version of ourselves?
observation has led me to believe that we do.
although i think those versions are different for each of us. work versus play, love versus hate, introvert versus extrovert. and so forth.
but wait. i realize that most of us probably have all or most, or more of these things as part of ourselves. what i mean is, are there different versions that we present to different people?
"work versus play" is what inspired this entry. you have a person who, in their professional life, shows incredible talent and intelligence, creativity, dedication... going so far as to spend countless hours researching, revising, planning, learning, in order to better themselves... and you- you know this about them, but only get a glimpse. because in their personal life, when they have time for it, this person lets the rest of this stuff become an undertone and just allows themself to be whatever it is they are at the moment.
maybe i don't make a lot of sense. i'm just thinking about people i know, or knew, or whatever. i've had a lot of time on my hands lately (or, you know, for the past three days) and sometimes i find myself pondering.
anyway. kyle and i hung out with phoenix and blayne yesterday. we pretty much ate some food and laughed our asses off. it was a good time.
i've already succeeded in throwing off my sleep schedule. not that i really had much of one to begin with, but at least having to wake up for class gave me a reason to not sleep until 2 pm.
