i finally called the bank to get that whole credit card thing taken care of. i was in a hellish hold world of holding for a while, now the song is in my head.
i also did a little browsing on the web site- did you know that wells fargo charges "$5 fee for ATM cash withdrawals made outside of the United States and a 3% foreign currency conversion fee for purchases made with your Check Card"? that sucks.
i'm going to run out of money in london, i can feel it. grandma sent me a check, which i'm about to call and thank her for, which will... maybe get me through a couple days. i've got a couple weeks to formulate a plan. i also have to apply for another loan. i have nothing to do for three weeks except worry about money. wooo.
when i got in last night, mom was asleep on the couch. i was putting presents under the tree and she woke up. "santa?"
"yup." then i went downstairs and she went to bed. it was cute.
