this is great.

...
i had this whole big edit written, and then i closed the wrong tab and it was gone. sonofabitch.

the end of the semester is almost here, guys. it's coming fast, and it's a little bit crazy.

org comm is going well. stephanie and i met with the manager at kowalski's yeterday and got a lot of good information, and he took the surveys to distribute. we're not going to be able to pick them up until the wednesday after thanksgiving, though, which leaves us with.. not a lot of time to get the data analyzed and a report written. we'll have to lock ourselves up somewhere for a little while.

comm theory is... well, the good thing about this project is it doens't have to be completed by the end of the semester. we do, however, need to have made more progress than we have so far. hopefully the survey questions will be finalized by friday. that would be just super.

i talked to randy yesterday about creating my own internship in the theatre deprtment. he likes the idea; i just need to talk to michael about it as well. maybe i can catch him before rehearsal today, or something.

i sat down with basma the other day and we brainstormed ideas. i called mpr to follow up on my application, but i only reached someone's voicemail. then my plan was to make a few other calls, but apparently people don't believe in providing phone numbers (cough garrison keillor and prairie home productions cough), so i guess i'll see what i can do. i wanted to call the media matters people by they don't have a phone number listed either. i guess i can inquire at both places by email. blah.

things are finally going well, i think. i have plans at least. and even though things are a little crazy, i actually manage to find downtime. maybe i'll be able to finish that blanket for my parents (which looks like it's going to be smaller than i anticipated), and i've been able to do some reading. the time traveler's wife is great so far.

some things are still puzzling, but the thing about that is they just kind of get pushed aside. you learn, in time, that some things are controlled purely by themselves, and there's nothing to be done about it except let it go until it's relevant, and see how it all works out, if it does, when it does. la de da.

one more thing... i made a random observation while filming the student senate meeting this morning.
