"i hear the bells" - mike doughty |

observation: last night i looked at my current holiday savings reward balance at borders, and it's a, uh, pretty good amount. why? because i buy too much music. and it is entirely possible that there are a good three cds i'm going to be purchasing in the very near future... damn you borders, and your personal shopping days! damn you music, for being so wonderful!
ps: oh my god, i love this song.
ah, i'm a little behind on the awkward of the week, huh? yeah, the thing is, i don't think i have one this time around. what can i say? i was at home for several days. pequot is a less awkward place, i guess.
oh hey. come see you can't take it with you. it's pretty dang funny. thursday, friday, and saturday night at 7:30 pm; sunday afternoon at 2 at the e.m. pearson theatre, concordia university. i run the light board. kate is a hilarious russian ballet instructor. brenna is also hilarious and russian. you can't get much better than that.
and while i'm promoting things: tuesday october 24 at 8:15 pm, betty mccollum and bill finney will be here. then on thursday the 26, toni carter, erin murphy, and mee moua will be here at 8:00 pm. both events are in the bec. don't miss it.

another day of short posts.
this amuses me.
and for good measure, a song quote.
On the back of a motor bike With your arms outstretched trying to take flight Leaving everything behind But even at our swiftest speed We couldn't break from the concrete
...i am about to find out who wins project runway.
*edit: jeffrey! yay. he was an ass, but he's a good designer.
