where did it all go? [15 Oct 2006|12:34am]

once upon a time i opened up itunes and my entire music library was gone.

oh, wait, that just happened.

what the fuck?! it was all there this morning...

i will keep you updated on this situation.

*update: i'm taking care of it. hooray for sharepod.

see, i would've just re-imported my music folder, but it wasn't up-to-date, so i imported the music from my ipod into my music folder. but because i had renamed a lot of files, i have a ton of duplicate songs that just have different names. so, i'm pretty much gonna go thorough and consolidate.

i was going to do homework tonight. clearly that didn't happen.

*update #2: yeah... that didn't work as well as it could've. sooo much stuff didn't transfer: no sufjan, no snow patrol, no dresden dolls... ugh.

no need to stay as it's always nothing [15 Oct 2006|10:24pm]

tonight i avoided homework by doing something else productive.

i applied for an internship.

this one. starting in january. i revised my resumé so i don't hate it, wrote a cover letter... it was a good time. no it wasn't; i'm pretty sure my cover letter is crap. but it's an effort nonetheless.

i'm not getting my hopes up;besides, i don't even know if it's realistic to think i can do it. 15-20 hours a week, plus i'm currently registered for 14 credits.

we shall see.

*edit: in other news, the itunes issue isn't completely taken care of yet; that is, there's still a lot that needs to be re-imported from cds. but i've realized something: i have so much sufjan that there's some i haven't even heard. at least not enough to recall. for example, the perpetual self, or "what would saul alinsky do?". hehe; i love it.

don't wanna be forgotten
