it occured to me that some of you (two or three? maybe?) might be curious as to what my brothers have been up to lately. therefore, this entry will be not about me, but them. what fun!
tyler is still living up in duluth. he quit his job about a week ago, though, because they kept giving him bad checks and wouldn't do anything about it. i'd say that's a good reason to quit. he's taking the checks to the district attourney's office and hopefully he'll get the money he's owed. he hates duluth and wants to move back to the cities and try going to school again. not for mechanics this time.
he's driving a different car now- the g-ride met an unfortunate end when he was driving to work in superior, wisconsin, and ran over an open manhole. that'll do some damage. so he's got another case going against the city.
he's got another ashley. apparently he ahs a thing for them. the first one was andy's cousin. she lives in illinois so that didn't work out so well. his new ashley... well, he said he's trying to get away from her. he likes her, but she's pregnant. not his kid, no no. that's the last thing he needs.
cody is living in brainerd with some guy. he's been doing landscaping as of late, but there's not much business in the winter. he's not with hannah anymore- i had been led to understand that they're pretty much the same way they always were, just not "together." guess that's not true. he actually told tyler - and hannah - he wouldn't go to duluth for tyler's 21st if hannah was going to be there. so she wasn't there.
kyle's the same. still with carla, still building houses with rusty. still making the same amount of money and not very happy about it.
i guess that's about it. in other news, thanks to a little thing called christmas (and more specifically, my grandma), i have enough money to go to new york without having to dip into my savings. awesome.

i was just reading reviews for the hotel we're staying at in new york. y'know, just like i did last time we went. they're not too bad. last time, for the hotel we stayed at then, i remember reading about bed bugs. gross. this time reviews are mixed. apparently at this hotel there aren't coffee pots in the rooms...? only one person mentioned that. hrm. whatever; sounds like it'll do just fine.
pequot is way boring. pretty much bored out of my skull right now. yarrrrg.

i know. another update. i'm bored, it's what i do.
first- upon randomly reading the lj of a random GAFFer, i found this entry about joaquin phoenix. and i love it. so true; i totally agree. mmm, joaquin.
