you're my safest place to hide... chuck norris. [08 Dec 2005|11:31am]

remember that comm test i took last week? i got a D-. i'm so pissed at myself; plus i totally thought i did better than that.

however! this is the test for which i wrote the chuck norris essay. and now, for your reading pleasure, here is the actual question (from a chapter that i didn't actually study) from the actual test and the actual answer that i actually gave.

list the four types of media systems in the model created by siebert, peterson, and schramm. then list who decides what the media can say in each system (8 points).

i think the real question should be "who decides what the media can say, period." the answer, of course, should be chuck norris. what media outlet in their right mind would dare to disobey walker, texas ranger? failure to obey could result in a roundhouse kick right to the face.

as far as governmental criticism goes, i am okay with is and i think chuck norris would be, too. i don't think he's the kind of guy who would lwt his own personal beliefs get in the way of the news. of course, if he doesn't like what he reads, he'll bring out the roundhouse kicks again.

as far as the real question goes, i have no idea. i hope reading this brings you some humor in your endeavor to grade these tests.

haha. it seems his wife actually graded my test, because underneath the essay she wrote "it did! [heart] sharon (prof. ted's wife)."

y'know what the greatest part about this is? i got the full 8 points. boo-ya! okay, except i feel like maybe he did it so i'd get more points and not fail completely. but still. awesome.

this day has been interesting. very rollercoaster-y, in minor ways. first there's that whole comm test thing. then there was chocolate milk in the union for breakfast. then it turned out that the review for math isn't due until monday, so i spent all that time on it last night for nothing... except it's done and turned in early so i don't have to worry about it.

well. pretty much all i have left to do is make sure my scene goes all right, and study for my finals. i don't understand why so many people are so stressed out- i guess i'm just lucky. all my projects are done and whatever... yes.
