just back from my artistic meeting w/ bo and stephanie...well actually just bo haha...
ok i get there like 3 minutes early, tell darlene im here, and i sit in the lobby for like 10-15 minutes...finally bo comes out to get me...i go in and sit down then he gets called out for a sec. so im sitting there and stephanie says hi and stuff...awkward silence...she says sorry theyre running late and stuff...awkward silence...then bo comes back in 5 minutes later, asks if we started and she's like no we waited for u and yep it was awkward..so just as we're actually about to start, stephanie's cell phone rings. apparently it was a very important phone call, because she didn't come back for the entire meeting. so Bo just started with me...he just said that he, stephanie, and the teachers think im doing well and im making progress...i just need to like stretch out more like everyone else needs to..and get stronger and stuff...then he asked if i had any questions and i didnt but i was like "ive been really working on my turnouit, has it improved at all" and he's like yes i think it has but it can always get better especially at your age...same thing w/ my feet (but i lied and said i use a theraband a lot) and stuff...then he asked me about summer programs and i said boston, sab, harid, miami cty, san francisco, royal, and here...he said harid should be bottom of the list, its not the best place for me (so im not even gonna bother auditioning)...said miami was a good program w/ a similar approach to things as we have here...san francisco same thing...said to try for sab...royal he said he doesnt know but it has a slightly different approach but still a good place to try...now by this time we're just like waiting for stephanie to come back so he goes to look for her...comes back cuz he cant find her...then he's like well how's rapa going, i said good im almost done w/ all my course work, and he asked if it was too easy haha...then he asked about the residency, and about the food...which he said the food still needs to get better even tho its better than before, but they "use too much butter or something still, but thats not an issue for me" which was good to hear...then we're still just waiting..and he's like well i think you're very intelligent with the work and everything and dont hesitate to come and talk to us etc etc, then he was like well i guess thats it..so i said bye and thank u....and just as im like opening the door to leave the office, stephanie comes thru still on her cell...she goes "oh im so sorry taylor i'll make it up to you" and then runs. lol i was like oh its ok...
so that was my meeting. interesting. didnt learn anything i didnt already know really. whatever...glad its over and done with.
