i just went to check mike's dead journal and he was just talking about how he doesn't know why the art thing is such a big deal. i don't care if someone doesn't understand or whatever; that's no big deal. so i saw someone left a comment and i'm pretty positive it was kelly maryanski. ok, i'm totally open to opinions and i don't have a problem with that, but what she said really pissed me off. she said something like she got all teary during lunch and one of the reasons was cuz of the art protest and that she has no clue how it has anything to do with self expression. i was gonna leave a comment, but i wasn't positive it was her. so i'll write about it on here instead. those comments are coming from an art student who expresses herself ALL the time through HER art and she doesn't even support us? her boyfriend was wearing a green patch and she had the fucking nerve to go up to him and rip it right off his chest and question his beliefs. maybe it's the fact that i have just never liked her, but maybe she is just really obnoxious. the point of protesting is getting our point across and our point is that art should not be censored. the fact is the fucking administration are being inconsiderate assholes in covering up mary's art and if we don't try to stop it now, it's gonna haunt us and it's gonna happen again and again and again. i have to be at this school for the next 3 years and i don't want it to be a living hell. though it may seem drastic to have the media come to our school, it's the only thing we could do. maybe the administration will see that we're not gonna give up so easily and let them fucking control us anymore. we had a PEACEFUL protest; a PEACEFUL one. we didn't do anything wrong, unless fighting for what you believe in is wrong. we wore green patches on our left breasts and that doesn't sound very threatening to me. it's not gonna stop until we get the respect we deserve. so kelly, you're confused about why we're making a big deal out of this? well i'm confused on how you can disrespect us by ripping joe's green patch off. if you don't understand us or support us, then don't disrespect us. i just wanted to say i lost all respect for you and i think you're fucking low. that's all.
