Concerned about the girlfriend. Something's bothering her tonight. She didn't want to talk about it. Maybe she'll tell me tomorrow.
I mixed together some cookie dough. It is supposed to refrigerate overnight. I'll bake the actual cookies tomorrow morning. My tutor is supposed to be here around 12:45. I'll be honest- I'm not sure what kind of help she's going to be. The material for my classes is mostly easy to grasp, I only need someone to keep me on task.
Courtney called me tonight to say she loves and misses me. I found out what's been going on in her life lately. The conversation was a little awkward because I was talking to Kristin online at the time and she was saying she wanted to go to bed- but it was nice to hear from Courtney. I miss walking late with her into French every day.
Melissa Ferrick lyrics have been running through my head most of the night. You know I never waited for anyone / and I was always right. Very like me. I've never waited for anyone. I never wanted to put myself in a foolish position. I never wanted anyone enough to submit my pride. But if anything ever happened so that Kristin and I weren't together, I would wait for her. I'd wait years for her. Wouldn't even look at anyone else.
I'm not sure what it is about her. The calm that I feel in her presence. The mixture of gravity and light. The hope and the love and the kindness. The little ways in which we've infiltrated each other's lives.
Her face lights up when she looks at me.

Ugh.
Discovered two things at the doctor's office.
One. Sprained my arm. He says it's possible to sprain one's arm by sleeping on it regularly. Two. I've gained twenty pounds in the last year.
Ugh.
(Also? Haven't heard from the girlfriend yet today. *worries*)
