EXPERIMENTER (Dominant Introvert Abstract Thinker )
Like just 4% of the population you are an EXPERIMENTER (DIAT). Although you're slightly shy (admit it!), you love control. When a problem comes in your way, you stomp on it swiftly and decisively. You are bothered easily by failure in others and failure in yourself. You don't like people that you don't think are intelligent. Rather than arguing with them, however, you would just as soon ignore them altogether.
In relationships, you have a strong heart. And because you're introverted, people take you as someone they can trust. But the fact is that in addition to solving problems, you like to create them. So there's a decent chance that you'll cheat on a loved one. If you do, you'll likely get away with it.
You're a good person at heart, but then again, who isn't? |

I took the gender test on spark.com and it called me a man. I told it that it was wrong, and here is what it said:
People like you, who walk the scary line between man and woman, are *very* helpful in understanding exactly what it means to be human. Thanks, and good luck.
WTF. I think its right :( lol. hahaha I'm a dude. |

Well I'm done with my Global Issues exam, and I just finnished my Gender Comm exam. Goodness. 2 1/2 hours is the record for exam taking for me. My hand feels like it is about to fall off. With another exam at 2, you think I'd be studying, but we know better ;) At any rate, I got up at 6:30 am, have been drinking Coke like its cool, and I'm wired for sound.
I got my final essay back in Comm today...this is from the lady who said she really liked my work and thought I should go to grad school. I get my paper back, and there were some of the best compliments I have ever recieved on there. I wrote about how my individual agency aided in my pursuits in my internship with the North Carolina Counil for Women. I mainly wrote about my education survey and how I assessed the state and effectiveness of education. At any rate, she said the world needed more people like me. That made me smile....yay people think I matter! Oh yeah, and I got a 99. w00t! I think that gives me an A in that class. And she said I earned it which makes me feel even better! :)
So the long essay on that exam was defining gender and proving how it is socially constructed through institutions, socialization, and context...and a whole slew of other things. Then you had to talk about how being socially constructed leaves room for agency to change it. We only got three pages. I could talk for days. But I think I put together a phenomenal essay. See what happens when you give a girl a soapbox?
I can only hope things continue to go just as fabulously. : |

Aha I sound like one of those kiddie journals. Ok how many people check their journals just minutes before a final? Yes, this is what makes me unique. haha!
Newsflash: I need to take some tweezers to my eyebrows stat. Seriously, its a jungle up there.
At any rate, wish me luck. This is the class I'm going to have to BS or hope for a question on Women in Politics, because I just don't get "global issues." It has issues.
And after that final, I'm going to get my cap and gown!!!! |
