Ok theres no school this week and im bored here. So I felt this inner inspiration to write in blurty today. Thought I'd talk about my weekend. It started Friday where I woke up and watched tv then went to my radio class. There someone was doing there project we have to do. His was on three bands, Bad Religion/anti-Flag/NOFX. It was funny cause he was off on some info and i got to raise my hand and correct him. Epitaph starting in 1986. haha WRONG! ummm...anyways. I then started calling work to get off work. Cause I had an interview on the radio with the band "Seconds Away" from SLC at 5 pm. And I had to be in to work at 5. So I begged for someone to stay after for a 1/2 hour so I can pull off this interview. they said they couldnt. I was mad i called Travis a fellow DJ to fill in. He did, and I was on my way to work. Then as I was at a red light talking to Keith from Seconds Away on my phone, apologizing for missing the interview then BAM! I was struck from behind by a crazy motorist. I pulled off to the side of the road and i was late for work. So I examined the damage and i have this huge dent in my bumper. She had some paint taken off her car and thats it. I knew her from High School. We exchanged insurance and dint bother with cops...cause we were both late for work. I then went to work and to my suprise my boss said he'd fill in for me. So i rush to the radio studio and Seconds Away werent there yet. But Tim was a friend of SA. I talked to him set things up. They got there. We did an excellent fun interview. It went longer then expected. I felt bad cause it was now 6:15 and my boss was working for me, heh. So I said good bye and thanks and rushed to work. There I apologized to my boss and he was ok with it. I then made some calls and pulled some strings with the electric and seconds away to get my friend into the show for free. Then they went at 8 i went after work at 9. Caught seconds away and they rocked so hard. Oh and there was hardley anyone there. What is up with this! The last 4 or 5 shows there was less then 30 people. Come on people support your damn theater! No more local shows, no more big bands, no more only good venue. Sharks has converted to hip hop shows. anyways...The last band Theta Naught kinda blew and were cool in a way but was just instrumental stuff no words and kinda made me sleepy. Then I went home...and that was FRIDAY! HUAH! Moving on!
Saturday I woke up to go do my radio show at 11 am. Then remembered when i got to the college that radio was down for spring break. So instead of driving back home I just went to work early instead of going at 12 pm. I figure i owe them one for taking an hour for me yesterday. I sat and did the boring job thing. My friend Blake Rampton stopped by and played my guitar i bring to work to pass the time. We will jam tomorrow hopefully and put together a rock awesome band. Im excited...anyways...speaking of hip hop at sharks. My older bro does rap. He was rapping at sharks. So I went to the electric at 8 by myself to check an amazing performance from melee. But got there too early and was listening to a new local band "Red Pen" who were cool but boring so i decided to go support my bro at sharks. I left for there and watched him do his first couple songs. I felt very out of place...so many thugs! Then they were going to do some rap battles so i left and headed back to the theater for melee! AWESOME SWESOME JOB! They were so super cool. I was way impressed. go to the RX Bandits show in April with them. You wont be dissapointed. So that was over I went home and slept. then came...
SUNDAY! I woke up. and what me and my friend jake do every sunday is get dressed and say were going to "church" but then go party and go on what i call "Adventures". Anyways...I talked to jake and he said he wasnt going cause his mom found out he wasnt going to church and he thought why say im going to church when i can just not go. But my mom still thought I was going to church. And she's hard to tell "Im not going to church" too. So I guess its solo adventures for me for now on. So I left to "church". I went to my friend Deans house. It was his birthday so I said happy b-day and hung out a bit and then i went home and chanegd into regular clothes and then went back to his house and we played some PS2. A bunch of kids came over i didnt know. We played some multiplayer action...with like 8 people. That was fun. Then he ordered this payperview. called "Wrestlemania 20". If you didnt know i have a secret. And thats watching pro-wrestling from time to time. So I stayed and watched that 5 hour long extravaganza with all them 8 people and ate pizza and what not. Good times...then I went home and watched TV until I fell asleep alone in my bunk.
Wow that was a long ass entry. anyways...i apologize for rambling on and on. Now its monday...im going to be lazy and then go to work. Then who knows what after that. If you read this far...I salute you! TA TA!
