arrrgh. i keep forgetting to update. not much has really happened though.
things are going very well with dayvid, =D
still waiting on my finiancial aid check, school starts in 3 days. i have 4 classes this semester, down from 5 last. i'm taking world religions, legal ethical & regulatory issues in business, owning and operating a small business, and English 111 which is technical writing.
moving to my gramma's house this weekend, fun fun.
promise i'll update more when i have my computer all set up over there!

went to Midnight Kiss last night with Dayvid, Jeremy, Garret, and some other people who's names i can't remember. it was cool, i just wish it hadn't been so cold! it was in a half finished warehouse downtown, so it was pretty chilly inside. anyway, it was still fun. it was all worth it when i got to see dayvid bust a move to MC Hammer... hee hee. then we came back to dayvids house and fell asleep.. i ended up being asleep by 3am! pretty good, for me.
i have some pics from before the party last night that i'll post as soon as dayvid finishes uploading them...

i can honestly say that i have NO fucking idea where this year went, although i guess it wasn't too bad for me. i started college, i got myself out a a relationship that just wasn't working out, and i think i've improved my mental state... a little.
of course, i also lost my company, found out that i'd have to file bankruptcy, and had to move back in with my parents.
but by far, the best thing about this year was meeting dayvid. he and i had a long talk last night, and i actually *talked* about some of my insecurities. i've never done that before.. usually, i just keep everything inside until it drives me crazy and i temporarily lose my mind. i'm so happy i finally found someone that i felt comfortable talking to... he never makes me feel like what i'm saying isn't important. i love him so much. <3 <3 <3
anyway. i think dayvid and i are going to try to hang out with jeremy tonight. dayvid's mom is out of town, so we'll have the house to ourselves for a little while. yay!
i am in a remarkably good mood today. and i've had the most obnoxious happy song in my head for the past 2 days. it's good to be happy, though. for once, i don't think i'm afraid of what next year will bring.

I return!!!! Bet you’re all thrilled, eh? Hmmm.
Let’s see… to start, I think I should run down a list of all my Denver family, so all this makes a little more sense.
Kirk- My brothers dad
Vena- Kirk’s sister
Valinda- Kirk’s other sister
Sammie aka Sam aka Samantha- Vena’s daughter, my cousin
R.J.- Valinda’s son, my cousin
Kayla- Valinda’s daughter, my cousin
Gramma and Grampa- Kirk’s parents… obviously.
Hmmm. Flight up there went pretty well, not too much turbulence. I did get kind of freaked out on the take off, but then again, I always do. So anyway, the first night we got there, we went straight to Gramma and Grampa’s house, and ended up being there just hanging out with the whole family until nearly 3 am. It was soooo good to see everyone again. I really like Vena, she and I have a lot in common, like reading all the same books and stuff. But anyway.
The second night we got to go to Kirk’s dojo for a dinner that was being thrown for all the instructors. (Kirk is a 3rd degree black belt in Aikido, and he teaches some of the black and brown belt classes). The dojo is really cool, it has a museum, and a restaurant that’s been named the 5th best Japanese food restaurant in the U.S. It’s all owned by Kirk’s Sensei. The food was awesome. I love real Japanese food. And, I even got up the balls to try sushi. It was definitely a LOT better than I thought it would be. I even ate eel, but I didn’t care for that as much.
Got to watch Kirk teach a black belt class the next night, and bought some really good incense from the dojo. All the profits go toward the Nippon Kan’s projects, like helping Mongolian orphans, and feeding the homeless in Denver.
Then, I had to stay the night with Kayla, and she decided that I had to be her sister. Poor girl. She’s 8, and all she wants is a sister. But she kept me up soooo late. She just refused to go to sleep. She kept whispering about how I should move to Denver and live in her room, lol.
Kirk took us shopping for our Christmas presents, so I made sure I got a bunch of stuff I’d been wanting… got some cute Lip Service, Serious, and Tripp NYC clothes.
And, other than that, all we did was hang out at Gramma’s and spend time with the family. We had 16 years of catching up to do, so there was a lot of hugging and talking and stuff.
Oh, I did get to go see Star Trek: Nemesis, finally. It was NEAT. Dayvid and I are going to go see it again soon.
I took lots of pictures, so as soon as I get them developed, I'll post some.
I’m just glad I FINALLY get to see my Dayvid! In about 3 hours… yippee! We killed a 1000 minute phone card in less than 6 days… so yeah, I spent a lot of time in the phone to Phoenix while I was in Denver. Now I need to go get ready... I'm gonna wear a bunch of my Xmas stuff. It was too cold in Denver. Plus, I had no reason to get all dressed up for the family.
So, I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas, and all that crap!

ok. haven't updated lately, so here goes!
went to dann and douglas' house on friday night for their art show... discovered that i don't like martinis, apple or otherwise. >_< yuck.
stayed home and watched insomnia with dayvid last night.
got up early this morning, dayvid is taking me to fredricks for christmas shopping! yay!
so, that's it. nothing else interesting in my world.

so um... nothing really going on. just figured i'd pop in and update, since i'm bored. i'm sleepy, too. i only got 3 hours of sleep last night, and i've been up since 6 this morning :( blah. just had a bunch of jack in the box french fries.. yum.
i also got everyone who had added me to their friends list added back now, go me! i'm not lazy... i swear!
only 6 more days of class left, and then i have over a month before the next semester starts.. thank god.

well then. just got home from tuscon, had a wonderful weekend down there. i should be unpacking or, getting ready for school tomorrow, or something... but instead i will just fill everyone in on my video game frenzy weekend.
dayvid and i went down to tuscon on saturday afternoon, we crashed at ian's and let me just say that...
GTA 3: Vice City is the COOLEST thing ever.
i've never seen a video game that could keep 3 (and occationally 4) adults entertained for 2 whole days. there's something to be said about that, and it isn't that we're all losers, lol. dayvid REALLY enjoyed the rocket launcher, and ian had all the fun codes to make the game waaaay more amusing. anyway- ian also had this game called Rez, i swear this game was designed by people on acid specifically for the purpose of causing the general public to suffer seizures. hella good soundtrack, though.
i also got to meet kate, she seems really sweet.
and on sunday night, i made dinner for everyone. i made lemon pepper chicken, with italian potatoes, and squash. i was a little disappointed with the way the squash came out, though. and we watched this movie called "brazil"... which if you haven't seen, you ought to see. it's part of the trilogy of movies made by terry gilliam (from Monty Python). "Brazil" is the second, "time bandits" is the first and "baron mun...chousen?" (i can't spell that one, lol) is the 3rd. anyway. go watch it, NOW! i command you, and stuff.
ian made waffles this morning. well, technically, afternoon, since you tend to sleep in if you stay up till 4am playing GTA 3. anyway, those waffles rocked. so thanks to ian for his hospitality, and kick ass waffles.
ummm... then ian and dayvid played more GTA 3. and then i came home.

just got home, went with my mom to pick some stuff up from her work. she works in a "long term care facility" aka nursing home. i love visiting the residents there, though. they're all so nice.
i'm doing the "adopt a resident" program for christmas, because a lot of these people don't have any family to visit with them and buy them gifts. so i get to pick out a present and a card for this super-adorable lady named Whinnie.
blah. it's depressing, though. i just feel so bad that hardly anyone ever comes to see these people, and most of them die alone, or maybe with a nurse, in a hospice.
time to go get dressed for tonight...

so, anyway.
today officially SUCKED. i did not like it one bit. first, i got LOADED with homework and shit right before finals, and then i found out that i can't get all my classes on 2 days a week next semester. i'll have to go 5 days a week, just like now. and i'm not really all that sure how i am going to work 30+ hours a week to support myself, and go to school for 4-5 hours a day. i mean, i do enjoy those activities known as "eating", "sleeping", and "free time". jesus. i'm just so angry right now, i don't even WANT to go do all that damn homework they gave me. but i ought to. so i shall. thank god there's only 2 weeks left of this SHIT.
and to top this all off, i only got 3 hours of sleep last night. grrr.
i'm sure that i'll feel better tomorrow, after i take a long bath, and get a good 8 hours of sleep. maybe. maybe i'll feel better if this headache will go away, too.

blah. i'm in a bad mood today, and i don't know why. well, i do. this is the first time i've had to live at home in about 3 years, my parents are bitching at me, it's finals at school, and i don't have a job. but oh well. i figure i can get a job when i get back from denver. until then, i'll just have to make due.

ugh. i hate waking up. it's all cloudy and gloomy, and it makes me want to go right back to sleep again. at least today is the last day of my biology lab for the semester, so i suppose i ought to be happy about that... hmmmm.... nothing else new, really. dayvid and i hung out last night and played starcraft together. i am getting better at that game, although i still get my ass kicked pretty bad. but some day, i shall prevail!!!! BWAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
sorry. i think i need more coffee. or maybe not.
i don't know why i've been so tired lately, i hope and pray that i'm not getting sick, because dayvid and i are supposed to drive down to tuscon and hang out there for a couple days this weekend. and then the weekend after that, douglas and dann are having an art showing at their house... and then after that, i have to go to denver for a week... so i won't have time to get sick this month. AND i also have finals for the next 2 weeks. ugh.
i still need to go register for next semester, so i don't get stuck with shitty class times like i did this semester.
