So Dan and I just came home from the mall cause I needed some much needed equipement...
We're walking to our apartment and I decided I wanted to go to the sketchy Mac's to get a Slurpee... FUCK!!! I couldn't cause some idiot got himself stabbed and the c-train platform AND the MAc's were all closed down. Frig... piss me off...
Now sketchy Mac's corner has been revelated. ha ha ha...

Anyways... I spent all morning being lazy and dumb...
I treated my frog who wasn't doing so good last night cause he get the fungus... AKA the fuzzy coat. His buddy died a few months ago from the fuzz and well now it was his turn. This time I got the right meds... and conclusion?!? MY FUCKIN' FROG DIED!!!!! He died at 2pm today. *sad*
So to make myself feel better about the second aquatic animal to die in my house this week I went shopping.
Which reminds me when I went to get fish meds last night I ended with 3 new frogs and a new Pleco... we have like 25 pets... heh! Anyways... and last weekend we got some new silver and black shark-like catfish and a few more paradise fish... I can't wait... cause there's new kinda of algae growing in the tank which means I need to get special algae-eaters and I decided I am getting algae-eating SHRIMP!!!!
Anyways... Dan came home and we went to TD so I could stop at Stila in Holt Renfrew... but they didn't have what I wanted. So on our way to the c-train we went to Club Monaco and I got 2 tank tops for $18... Finally those jerks went on sale.
Then we headed to Chinook and we went to MAC... I went a bit overboard. I spent just under $90 on new basics... I got a new lipstick, Sophisto (so gorgeous, very neutral but still)... replacement concerler (liquid), finally got a new blot press and replaced my waterproof mascara... YAY!!! and of course got Dan some special shaving cream. I really hate his stubble that much. Anyways... things on my next to buys at MAC... Lipstick: Cherish and vixen, Eyeshadows: Black tied, Chill, Quarry, and Swimming or Guacamole, Eyeliner: black waterproof and liquid- smudgeproof, and replacement lip conditioner in tube form... posibly more lipglass will be necessary soon.
Anyways... MORE SHOPPING...
Went to Old NAvy to check out les deals... got some new jeans, a couple tees, a tweed jacket and a sweater... and $170 later... FRICK!!! I wanted 2 more pairs of jeans but they were out of the colours I wanted... :/
In other news... got some dinner... then we came home.
Shopping makes me VERY tired. I need to work on this shopping cardio stuff...
I made it through the mall without going into Jacob or La Senza... GO ME!!!!!
Anyways... I think I am going to Banff this weekend... Yippee!!!
New addictions to add to C2... Pikman 2 and still Animal crossing...

*steps out of laziness*
I finally got my stupid stinkin' loan money and I decided to go spend some of the long awaited cash...
Last night for some reason was the worst nights sleep ever. Totally minutes sleeping 0.
This morning I get out of bed cause what's the point in trying when there's no one to try to cuddle up to. Which brings me to another point. I think I've hit another milestone in my life. I hate sleeping alone. The other night I was tired so I went to bed early and Dan was doing something. I couldn't sleep. I ended up on the couch playing Animal Crossing till 2am.
Anyways... This morning I checked my accounts and I decided to go to school and get some books and check my papers from my class and other things.
What I didn't realize was my stupid hair was going to take me so much effort. If I don't put product in it. I have little Asian boy hair. It's really lame. I can't even put my hair up without product or it stays little Asian boy. I am now a slave to the products. A combination of gels, waxes and dun dun dun hairspray. And for the first time in my life the use of my hair dryer. Till this hair cut I've avoided using the thing. It's not become a daily appliance. It's a pain in the ass...
Another thing about this hair... Once you have your hair done YOU HAVE TO DO YOUR MAKEUP. If you don't you look incomplete.
If you go out like a little asian boy it's ok not to put your makeup on and as we should all guess going out like a little asian boy is NOT an option.
Therefore the little 2 second walk to the corner store requires hair and makeup.
I know someone is going to post back and say wear a hat. I can't wear a hat with this cause it's little asain boy with hat on... I even tried a toque, stupid head melted on contact.
Enough of this boo-hoo bullshit... about my hair.
I got my hair done and makeup done.
I went to school and I checked my mark for my field school reports... AAAAAAAAAAAA's WOOT! I expected nothing less with all the fuckin' bull shitting I did as well as all the money spent on pictures, bindings, paper, pens, booklets... ... ...
THIS IS SOMETHING I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW... Transparencies for printers range in cost from the Staples brand start at $24 for 18 sheets and no you cannot buy them individually or in smaller, "cheaper" packs. And they go up to $30 for a 20 pack of HP brands. IF you don't have to use transparencies don't... Friggin' expensive, waste of money... I think it would have been time well spent to have just taken a few overhead pens and overhead sheets that would cost a total of maybe $10 for both and drawn the stupid things. Which would have also lined up better when they got binded. Another note on this... I don't know how but when making graphs... EXCEL IS THE WORST PROGRAM EVER... It doens't allow you to change legends... change colours of dots... It's all or none. My next investment will probably be Illustrator for this purpose. And YAY! for student discounts...
After this I went to the Health and Dental place on campus to see if I get vision benefits. NO! I do not! I am thinking of opting out and getting put under Dan's cause his has vision. @$#%$%^$#%^#$
Then I went to the Used bookstore on campus and like always... no one except me would sell back a 3rd/ 4th/ grad level text. So off to spend my long awaited monies at the expensive book store.
Anyways... I picked up all my books... It would have been a nice just under $200 book buy IF I hadn't decided that I have to learn Spanish. The required text for this class (which is a first year class) is $178. The optional was an additional $68... FUXOR! I bought them and am leaving them in the shrink wrap because right now I am considering dropping it for a cheaper course. I think I can convince someone else to teach me spanish... I think...
CRAP... I left my Coke in the freezer for a bit too long... it's chunky and it's thick... :( Which also reminds me... I LOVE C2! I like it alot. I like the delusion that it's better for me then normal Coke and I love that it's not going to kill me as fast as Diet Coke. They need Lime C2...
Right now I am thinking of the best way to open this cd- textbook and trying to devise a plan to get it back in the wrapper after burning it... Textbook on cd was $50 cheaper then text but $57 more then I am willing to pay for a cd.
CRISIS!!!!
I at least bought something that will stop my complaining. I GOT SMELLY FELTS!!!! I am making SUPER monopoly... It's going to be cool... it's a 6 sided board and it's going to be more Risk-like in that you want to take over the world... not just a few plots of land.
Anyways... Other then these few things I have nothing else to really rant about so I am off to work on super-opoly...

Once again it's been longer then long since my last update.
So I have finished my work in the field for the summer, but I still have my f-ing report to do. I finished my management report last night, I still have the main "meat" of the excavation and survey report to do and by that I mean the whole thing cause I am a procrastinator. I have like 40 pages to write and research and interpret. I could kill myself.
Anyways... yesterday I cut all my hair off. It's so freakin' awesome it's really short and spiky. I had to go back tomm to get the back shortened a bit more cause right now I am using soooooooooo much product to get it there.
Other then these nothings really new... Gawd! this is a pathetic existence.

well... I've been back for awhile now.
I am back in school, which by the way is kicking my ass. Firstly I am in "class" which is really the field from 8.15 to 5.30 Monday through Friday and then I spend my weekends in the lab cataloguing and all that great fun. I spend the rest of my waking hours trying to put my freakin' project together but holy hell it's taking a toll on my brain.
I haven't worked so hard on a project ever, but I am doing what it takes to get on the profs good side so he can write me a reference so hopefully next year when I am supposed to graduate assuming I don't fuck something up. I'll be in line to hopefully get an archaeology related job and hoepfully make some money.
Gawd! I am ready to crash cause I have to be at school at 8.15 and then go through 4 hours of lecture then off to the lab till I finish cataloguing. It's ridiculous. I spent all day friday and saturday in the lab. I even had Dan come in and clean bones and shit and I am still no where near done. FUCK! I can't wait to get it done so I can get back to digging in the field.

Well... my trip has come to an end. I am back in Canada. Gawd! It's a good and a bad thing being back.
I miss Mexico and I really miss Belize and all my friends there, but at the same time it's nice being home with family and friends.
anyways... After my field season in Belize I took a road trip through Mexico. I had 10 days to get from San Ignacio, Belize to Mexico city, Mexico... woot! for adventures.
Anyways... Mexico consisted of getting to Chetumal, Quitana roo to Palenque, Chiapas to San Cristobal del casas, Chiapas to Oaxaca city, Oaxaca to Puebla city, Puebla and on to Mexico City, Puebla. It was so much bloody fun! I can't wait to do it again!
I got home Thursday morning at 1am and then I flew back to Vancouver with Dan this afternoon...
I am off to get some sleep... I am sleep deprived

It's hard to believe I've been in Belize for almost 6 weeks already and that this field school session is comming to an end very quickly.
I haven't updated much just out of laziness but it has been eventful.
At camp, it's like a disease ridden colony of gringos. Camp is the same as always... I finally snapped my first tent pole, which was expected mine is the only to not have broken yet. So I'll get that erplaced when I get home. Other camp things... The number of infected bites has decreased, due to the guys realizing not bathing results in increase chances of infection. Taking care of open wounds in the jungle is a smart thing cause infection in humid, hot countries increases. Some of the guys got some really nasty infections and have been in hospital and on meds for them and haven't been able to go to site due to lack of being able to walk on their wounds.
It's bleedy gross I have pics to post on those...
So far, no leishmaniasis flare up, but 2 bot-flies.
Site... At Group L where I am working we're at the Terminal architecture and it's quite cool. The other 2 buildings in the group don't have much going on on the surface and it's frustrating because it's making my group behind cause we have to map all the "Crap" we're finding and so far my floor (surface of the building) is covered in pottery and a few non-associated items like, matates, ground stones, obsidian and a celt. It's a weird combination but if what I am predicting is correct that the building is a domestic stone tool making complex. The termination ritual at the structure would represent that the "smashy-smashy" ritual was done as well as termination of the some of the less-then-perfect pieces of worked stones. As for evidence of "smashy-smashy" I have Planton-Punctated Incised pottery in Tinanha red, which is found in the termination caches of Caracol (a site 25km from my site).
Anyways... enough nerd-talk...
As for this weekend... I haven't done anything productive. I slept off my illness mostly. I skipped going to Guatemala this year because of the increase in cost and the decrease in funds., but maybe I'll go next year. :) I love Flores...

Anyways... Last day at site is on Thusday... which is my lab day so my last day at site is on Wednesday... Then friday is the going-away party in which alot of locals will be comming to the farm to party. It's going to be alot of fun just like last year. Friday is going to be a day of finishing off my field book then helping in the kitchen making 1000s of tortillas, and 100s of tamales and pounds of meat... woot! MEAT! Then liters and liters of donkey punch... uhm... rum... uhm... tonic... uhm... squash...
It's going to be fun... Then off to town late on Friday night... Then Barbara, Veronika and I will get on the Saturday morning 4am bus to Chetumal, Mexico...
My plans runs as so... Get to Chetumal on Saturday afternoon and go to the museum of anthropology there, then spend the day with Barbara and then over night at some fancy hotel. Then she'll fly to Mexico city and get ready for her wedding, and Veronika and I will catch a bus to Palenque and do that on Saturday and hopefully we'll spend some time in the town there then off to either Oaxaca or Veracruz. I am happy either way... we just have to see which is cheaper... Then the final strech will be in Puebla and then MExico city and fly home...
It's going to be a stellar 17 days to come...
so I am off...

second time I had to go to some sketch Doctor and have a diarrheal shit sample tested and it was a relapse of...

fuckin' drugs better work soon cause death might just feel alot better then this...

So this week went by relatively quick. Actually it wasn't really a full week so it was really fast...
Monday was the guys day to cook. ICK! not a gooder. I can't wait till Mariam and Millie start cooking again. :)
So Monday and Tuesday was prep days for the wedding on Wenesday.
Monday we made mud and paste to redo the walls of the kitchen and of Joes and Mariam's hut. It was so fun! Plus it was like applied archaeology cause it was probably the same way the Maya and other Meso cultures made their abodes.
After that we dig a larger garbage pit and then we filled the trailer with rocks and mud and sand. It was an adventure. Diamond Dave saving the toads from the pit and other craziness. We used the mud, sand and rocks to fill the kilometer road into the farm so it was easier for the wedding guest to get to the farm and not get stuck.
Tuesday was good. It was the girls turn to cook and we did a good job I must say. My teriyaki veggies was a hit. It was nice to have rice. :) Anyways... Uncle Joe, as in Joe Mayo from the Mayo Clinic came back to the farm. I LOVE UNCLE JOE! He's one of the only people in the world that thinks hairless cats are the bomb. It was kind of scary when his sugar level fell and I thought he was going to die. I guess it didn't help that Joe gave him weed. Ha ha ha... Joe found some plants in the hill and picked it. It was somewhat amusing.
Anyways... Tuesday Roza and Millie came to the farm to help up braid palms for the arches and to start cooking for the wedding.
We started making the stuff for Tamales and marinating meat.
Wednesday... JOE AND MARIAM's WEDDING. The morning was hectic and we made 1000 tamales and bbq'd 150lbs of meat and made a potato salad from a bag the size of a 7yrs old child.
The wedding was beautiful. I want to get married here now. hee hee... The farm was so beautiful, tiki torches, the animals and rose petal everywhere, the tent and the arches. It was great! I will post pictures soon.
I got to bartend drunk and that was a highlight, we had 4 cases of rum, which have 12 bottles in each, tequila and endless wine and Fanta. Sweet sweet!
I passed out before 11pm and for me that's late. I've been in bed by 8.30 pm every night since I've been here.
Thursday... We were all up by 7.30am and we cleaned up the farm by 9am. So we all came back to San Ignacio at 10. Spent the day doing close to nothing.
Today is a day of starting to put my field book together.
Tomm the students get here and it's back to the farm... and off to the filed next week.
so I am off till next weekend. (Friday night...)

HOLY MOTHER OF GAWD!!!!!!! It's bleedy HOT! I honestly feel like death.
Anyways... I've been in Belize ONE day and I am burnt, hot, and sweating. I haven't been dry in like 30 hours. It's crazy how insanely humid and sweltering it is.
I left Calgary at 7.10am on Friday but my day started at 3.30am... the airport was a bitch. I HATE FRIGGIN' CUSTOMS. ESPECIALLY AMERICAN CUSTOMS... I got to the airport and almost immediately had to go to customs. GAY!!!!!!! Then they searched my bags. The fuckin' girl took apart my bag... it took her 45 minutes to search, then 45 for me to re-pack and my bag was never the same. :(
Then for four hours I sat next to a man who hasn't showered in years, the odours were foul... Then he fell asleep and tilted towards me and started breathiong on me with breath that has NEVER been cleaned. IT was so bad I gagged no less then 100 times. I WANTED TO DIE!!!!!! I hate people like that...
The second part of the trip was good... I enjoyed it... Mostly the incerdible beauty of the scenery...
Then I got to the airport... HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After that... I took a $20US taxi to Belize city ($4 a gallon for gas)... Then I got on a bus for $7Bz and went to San Ignacio.
Last night when I got in I got set up in a room on an air mat in a room with Dave and Deryck. They're cool! Deryck snored. I thought that was funny cause he told me it was a "no-snoring room".
Yesterday was a 5L of water day and a night that consisted of a chicken boob boooooger. did some internet and talking with some of the other staffs... Then I went to bed.
this morning I got up and my roommates were gone... So I got up and hung out with Matt and we went to Cafe sol for breaky and my rooomies were there. I finally had my veggie sausage Mc muffin... IT WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD... Better then I have been dreaming about it 2 weeks. GAWD! It was so good. I can't wait till tomm's breakfast.
Then Lisa, and Janah... went to the pool at the San Ignacio hotel adn Siego came to hang out... I got BURNT!!!!!! But it was so good... I felt cool for the first time in a long time.
Then I went back to the Pacs (where the staff stay on weekends)... then I showered and passed out for a few hours... Then my roomies and I and Janah went to dinner... I can't remember the name but.... NEEEEELY!!!! Iy was good.
Now I am on the internet... and Dan's not here. :(
I leave the town for the farm tom and it's going to be great... except for the lack of electricity and fans and aircon... Oh well... It's what I am here for.
I am off till next weekend...

Cripes! It's 4 days till take off...
It's pretty crazy. This semester has gone by so fast. Anyways... this semester has gone by fast and very well... I think this may be the best grades so far.
anyways... my hominid paper was marked ridiculously hard as was everyone elses., but what can we do? Anyways... I was pretty shocked, Christie (little miss 4.0) only got one point more then me. That's insanely crazy, she's supposed to be so much smarter then me. Oh well.
I have my one and only exam on Thursday morning, then I am off to Belize.

anyways... other then school and my trip, there's me and Dan... *sigh* everything is going to well. I love him so much! He's the only reason I don't want to leave. I am going to miss him. WELL... SCHOOL IS ALMOST DONE!!!!!!!
No more classes... no more papers... unless I want to write up some bonus stuff...
One exam left, two weeks from now...

Yesterday was a bloodbath...
drinking at 9.30 am and beer in class... and more booze after... as well as pulling a close to all nighter the night before...

So it's Good Friday... I decided I am NOT doing any school work today.
This week and the last few weeks have been hellish.
A few all nighters. A few stressful papers. Two big presentations. A midterm...

It's ALMOST OVER!!!!
So let's see... Dan has been gone since Monday. He had to work in Radium till yesterday and then he came home for a few hours so we could go get dinner and stuff, then he went back to Vancouver for Easter till Monday. I miss him. I love living with him and it's crazy... he's been a few days and I wish it was Monday just so he'd be back.
Last night he went back to my house and gave my sister her birthday present. My parents are moving soon... So we'll see if it's worth while going home.
School has been insano but I am proud to say my current GPA for this semester has been a nice 3.8... but we'll see how well the last few assignments and final go.
Then two nights ago I had to reformat my computer. The fucker was being really shitty. It took me 15 cds to save my MP3s and school crap. Then 8 hours to finish the formating process. I've decided that's the downfall for having a large harddrive. I've also decided my next computer is a Powerbook or an iBook...
Anyways...
21 days till I leave for Belize. I am gone for 7 weeks and 3 days... 6 weeks in Belize workign... then 10 days to get to Mexico city from Belize. It's going to be SWEEEEEEEEET. As long as I don't get mugged or killed...
I am going to play Courtney's gamecube all day today... Then watch the hockey game at the bar... I AM WEARING MIKE's OLD SCHOOL CANUCKS JERSEY.
