Yes I haven't forgotten I have a blurty and now I will finally write it practically 9 months later lol. Anyway In this entry I will try to sum up everything for you. I was right though my first year at college turned out great..more happened to me than I even expected. Although I didn't run in student govenment and the only club I was part of was SAB lol. I honestly can't wait to go back believe it or not...can you believe that...ME want to go back to school?!? Whatever happened to me?..lol.

Now to describe what happened to me in school...let's see what I can remember.
September:
This was the beginning of college as you know. I met my 7 very best friends this much...Liane (aka Li Li, my roomate), Melissa (aka Mel), Deshawn (aka Dk), Adolfo (aka Fo Fo), Brian (aka Bri), and Matt (aka Pillow, although I didn't start calling him that till later lol). I have met other people and if I didn't add you to that list doesn't mean you aren't my very best friend...those were just the people I spent 24/7 with later on. In that first month I got to know the people I started hanging out with. Fo Fo had the kind heart and was always willing to listen to anyone with a problem...he was known for being a bit too touchy but that's the way he expressed his feelings. Of course he had his moments as we all know lol. Dk always trying to be the pimp lol was always outgoing and was a great friend to joke with about the nature of "males and females"..especially female driving. Mel was the ambious singer/musican. If she doesn't end up on broadway then I don't know what to say. Li Li of course was my room mate...Sponge Bob obsessed but we love her for it. Bri and Matt were both the artist of the group...even though they were twins we soon learn that they weren't alike expect for their interests. At first Matt was the shy and quiet one but he soon became comfortable around us all. Bri was the outgoing one at first. Now that you know a bit of background I can now continue. This month was when the elusive "throwing bottles out the window" occurred. Li Li, Mel and Deshawn weren't there but it was still legendary lol. We also had a city trip from 1am-8am...hanging out on the platform etc. You could also see the possible relationships forming in the beginning. At first Bri was interested in me, Li Li had her other interest, Fo Fo thought every girl in sight was hot, Mel was interested in one of her friends, Dk didn't care and Matt...well you couldn't tell at the time lol. School was fine...Computer and Society was interesting as we all know lol. Overall it was a great month.
October:
This is where everything change....specifically in relationships lol. Towards the end of September I found out Bri liked me of course as everyone knew but I told him I wasn't interested basically because of many things. Well a week later I found out that Matt had an interest in me but I couldn't see how that was possible even though everyone told me so INCLUDING Bri. Matt didn't obviously show it so I began to think and wondered whether or not I had an interest in him. Well he had heard that I liked him and everyone was pushing him to ask me out. As we know how the story goes he did and I said yes for some strange reason. So there you have it...I now had a boyfriend lol. Bri's interest began to change towards my room mate Li Li as well...and everyone else basically had the same interests at the time. The first few weeks of dating were a little bumpy. Matt finally kissed me after two weeks of dating me but I began to wonder if our relationship would last. During Casino Night I had refused to be near him and kept avoiding him...finally I agreed to go for a walk and talk to him and in that night we work out some of our problems. We didn't talk to each other about our problems we went to everyone else for them lol. When Matt and Bri went home for a weekend me and Li Li went to Six Flags and had a blast. Halloween came and it was hilarious...Li Li dressed as grannee which was a complete riot but she didn't win. Deshawn found interest in a girl but he didn't push further with it. As always School was school and that was it lol.
November:
We all know this is the month of my birthday and I invited everyone home to celebrate. Matt had given me my first Build-a-Bear named Isabel which I absolutely adored. Since Matt and Bri's birthday was in the same month we went to Jillians and then bowling...it was fun. That same month was the Winter Wonderland Ball...Matt of course asked me to go and Bri took Li Li. Fo Fo and Deshawn were going to ask people but they didn't so they didn't go. Now I know were all wondering what happened....Li Li and Bri were staying friends even though Bri wanted more. That's a whole other story in itself. The ball was great and we all had a blast. During this month we spent nights walking around, playing frisbee, hanging out etc.
December:
Well finals were coming up and of course we were all wondering what they'd be like. Matt and I still had our bumps in the road but we overcomed them and made it through. I didn't like the fact that my first semester was ending because I didn't want to leave everybody. We made the best of our time together though...went to the movies, mall, etc. Unfortunately school had to end and we all went back to our homes. Winter Intersession had begun and it was going to be a long break. Christmas came and that was ok...but I missed my friends. Holidays were supposed to bring the ones you loved together not pull you apart. I spent the days at home and the nights talking on the phone with Matt.
January:
Still going through Winter Intersession and I was counting down the days till school started. Good news was that I was allowed to spend a weekend at Matt and Bri's house with Li Li. It was sooo peaceful and I didn't want to leave. But never the less I had to and I went home. Eventually the long break ended and I got to go back to school...yay! Sadly though Adolfo wasn't joining us that semester and we were going to miss him greatly. The beginning of a new semester was great and everyone picked up where they left off.
Feburary:
Either in the beginnig of the month or the end of the last Mel and Dk started dating...Dk left his pimp ways lol. Personally I expected it to happen sooner or later lol. Valentines Day turned out perfect..Matt and I still together. We kept in touch with Fo Fo since he was our friend. My family went on vacation without me and I would go home during the week with my friends and hang out a bit with them...it was fun but I still wanted to go on the vacation with my parents. I believe those were the highlights of the month lol.
March:
I forgot to mention it was a cold winter so much couldn't be done. We all got used to Mel and Dk dating and Li Li and Bri were still friends. Basically the whole group was pairing up with each other...so much for that incest huh Dk lol. We spent a weekend at Mel's house which was fun...played pool, watched movies etc. During these months not as much had happened as you can see and things were going smooth. We went to the movies and other stuff but I can't remember exactly when lol.
April:
Midterms were finished which was a good thing lol. Easter Break was upon us. The chorus concert was approaching. All in all it was a busy month and the weather was still cold but it was beginning to warm up. Easter Break was alright but I still missed my friends. Although the last day of Easter Break Li Li, my sister Jackie, her friend Gabby and me went to see Missy Elioit, Tamia, Alicia Keys and Beyonce in concert! It was great expect for the amount of hearing I lost lol. We signed up for a Volleyball competiton from one reason or another...calling ourselves the Pimpadellics...lol. We spent the week practicing for it. When it finally came we ended up losing but in the last game we almost won. Next season we're going to win! Cause we're a lot better now and we really worked well as a team. We had some great saves lol. The concert went well no complaints. Even though we messed up no one really noticed.
May:
Well I dreaded this month not only because of finals..even though I wasn't worried...but I dreaded it because of having to leave my friends for practically 4 months. Finals came and went...school ended and you could tell we were all sad to have to leave to each other. The last week was spending time with each other. When it finally came time to leave we all packed up everything and said our goodbyes going home. We all past that semester with flying colors...I came out last semester with a 3.112 average..go me. But I still missed my friends terribly.

My life over the summer is interesting. Right after school I got a job as a receptionist and it's great. I talk to my friends everyday and I keep in touch. Last week Matt and Bri came down for the weekend and we all hung out. We had a good time. And now I'm back at work writing this cause I'm bored lol. Anyway that's what I have to say. Hopefully next semester I'll actually write what went on so I won't have to write such a long entry lol. I realized I left things out but I was summing up what happened. I'll try to write in here when I can but for now it's a goodbye to all and hope you enjoyed the entry.

Well it's now 4am and you may be thinking why am I up this late at night or early in the morning? Well, to answer that question of yours is quite simple. I've been out doing things having a great time even though I'm tired I refuse to go to bed. We all know how stubborn I can be. Basically this blurty will cover my day to day life at Adelphi and give you an inside peak at what it's like lol.
Now last night my new found buddy Melissa slept over, she's considered our 'unoffical' room mate because Denise is never really around. Li Li, Melissa, and I got along great together...listening to music, hanging around, and talking. Since we're lazy asses we bascially spoke using ims even though we were only across the room from each other lol. We didn't go to bed till around 2am and might I add I happened to have a really great dream last night as well...lol.
I woke up around 10am today and my class was at 11...and good news! I made the Advanced Music Theory class! Yay! I'm so happy about it to...because I couldn't take the other class for much longer. After that I was done for the day. So I set up a last minute mall trip with my college buddies...basically it was 4 other guys and I was the only girl..lol. Yes very interesting if you ask me...it was Adelpho, Deshawn and the twins Matt and Bryan. Now normally shopping with guys isn't the greatest thing but I actually had a great time. When we weren't shopping we'd find ourselves discussing random topics such as politics, religion and science...etc lol. I know strange but it was fun. After spending majority of the time in the mall we went to see Once Upon A Time In Mexico. Won't give the movie away to those who haven't seen it yet but it was good...odd cast though.
We came back to Adelphi and then we went to our dorms...picking up things. Deshawn had to go so the rest of the night was spent walking around and taking pictures...it was for Matt's photography class. Somehow we ended up walking off-campus to the train station down the block and sitting on the platroom for at least an hour and a half waiting for a train to pass by to take a few pictures. Now I know you're thinking we must be crazy but it was actually a lot of fun lol. Planning to do it again soon actually I believe...there's more that went on but there's too much to describe...Adelpho was hilarious. But then Bryan and I left the others and started walking back to campus...hung out in his dorm for a while and finally decided to walk back to my own dorm getting in around 4am lol.
And now here I am writing in my blurty about what the day has held. And might I add it was a great day, and I LOVE college! I'm going to end this now and I'll write more in it later. Sleep is over taking me but I REFUSE to go to sleep!...lol. See ya all later and love you all!
