Drama was over for Squall, thank god. It was bad enough he was stuck with that annoying witch, now he was finally free. Squall heard girls giggle and whisper about the dance tonight as he passed them, rolling his eyes in disgust. How stupid... He thought to himself. Squall arrived at his and Cloud's dorm room, entering it and slamming the door shut. Cloud's not here yet.... Squall thought looking around the room. He decided to wait for his 'friend'. It's not like Squall was going to the dance anyway, he'd be spending the night in the dorm room, trying to sleep mostly. Squall laid back on his bed and just decided to wait for Cloud to come back. He could tell it was going to be a long night.

Squall glared at Cloud when he mentioned his ribs, thinking that was a shot at him for being hurt. "Umm..you decided if you're going to the dance or not? Lots of people are going, and I think Rinoa would like it if you went." There he goes again....about that stupid dance... Squall thought to himself with a bit of a sigh. What is it with people and that dance... Squall thought, not understanding why people wanted to go to it. It was a waste of time. "I already told you Strife, dances are a waste of time. And no, I'm not going." Squall said as he looked back up at his ceiling. Rinoa would like it if I went....is that why Cloud's taking her then... Squall thought growing a little annoyed.

Just as Cloud went into the washroom, Squall chucked a shoe at him, having it miss Cloud and hit the door. Shit.. Squall thought to himself, seeing Cloud open the door and look at him confused. Squall just laid there looking like he didn't do anything. After Cloud left, Squall scowled at him, annoyed with the 'Rinoa looking hot' comment he had said. Why am I making such a big deal out of this....nothing's ever bothered me this much before... Squall thought as he stared up at the ceiling of the dorm. Do I like Rinoa....she's alright...a little annoying every once in awhile...but she stayed by my side when I was in that god forsaken infirmary... Squall thought, thinking about how Rinoa had been there for him. But what does it matter...she's going with Strife....but Strife likes... Before Squall could finish thinking, he saw Cloud come out of the washroom with a towel around his waist and around his neck. Oh brother... Squall thought with a roll of his eyes.

Squall laid there on the bed, beginning to feel tired from how long the day had gone. He wasn't going to the dance, so he figured he might as well get some sleep. Squall turned himself on his side and tried to get some sleep before Cloud came out and started babbling to him around the dance. I wish he'd just hurry up and leave already... Squall thought to himself. He closed his eyes and tried to get some sleep as best as he could.

Great...clown boy.... Squall thought to himself with a sigh. "I'm not going to the stupid dance Zell. Now go away." Squall said to Zell. He heard Zell mention 'Rinoa' however, which caught his attention for a second. Rinoa wants me to come....so why is she going with Strife then... Squall thought, getting a little confused. "I don't care if she wants me to go. You can tell her no. I don't go to dances, and that's that." Squall said having the room go queit, except for the sound of Cloud's hair dryer in the washroom. "You can go now Zell." Squall snapped.
