I’m dreaming I live in a world of my own The stardust is much more than real The sting of mortality I left behind is asleep There are no tears, no pains, no terrors Only joy supreme and the melodies of space
I’m wishing that I was no longer alone Imagining friends, true family and one love One beautiful love without tattered edges Old injuries are but whispers of Memory Unbroken, wild, and whole are the beats of my heart
In this world composed of hope and desire The light is brighter, like the sun was never real before The coal of previous existance is now a diamond star Before the dream, beauty and slendor did not exist Song is now perfumed with laughter, with joy
The world is not perfect, it has it’s flaws But there are beauties in its’ shortcomings Room for more hopes and dreams to be realized Space for song , for love to fill
If only the dream was real.
